Zoo Med(2 Pack Labs 25W Nano Basking Spot Lamp

Good thing we bought the 2 pack as the first light exploded about 2hrs into its first day. The second light is holding up ok after a few weeks, but I don't have faith it will last long. They are much hotter than expected, they will melt anything made of plastic that is within an inch, we found that out the hard way

There is nothing wrong with the product, it was my mistake. These are 25 W bulbs, which means little light and very little heat, yes, I know they are Nano bulbs, but the 40 W Nano heat better and give much more light. For what ever the reason, I overlooked this and didn't pay attention to this detail, because I didn't and I was thinking I was getting 40 W bulbs.

Product itself was what we expected but the package came 4 days after the day it was expected to deliver and our lizard needed it! We can’t ger 25w in our town anywhere so we ordered before we needed it with an expected delivery in time before the other went out but with it being late, we were without a working light for our lizard for two days making it difficult to control the heat. Not happy about that!

First lamp exploded over enclosure. Glass from the bulb got in the tank so I had to rescue my African Flat Rock Scorpion before it got injured. Don’t feel safe running bulbs over the tank. So for heat I use ceramic heat camp and ambient lighting on side of tank.

This was purchased for grandsons leopard geckoWorks good

Packaged well none broken. Works well

This came together and seal tightly. It came unbroken and works well. Last about 1-2 months with normal uses.
