Lightweight and Convenient, but Lacks Power and Compatibility
The media could not be loaded. This cordless angle grinder offers the convenience and portability of being battery-powered, compatible with Dewalt 20V and Flexvolt batteries. However, despite its 800W brushless motor, the actual power output feels somewhat underwhelming, especially for more demanding tasks. Additionally, the undersized arbor limits its compatibility with standard attachments, which can be a major drawback for those with existing accessories. If you're looking for a lightweight and portable grinder for occasional DIY projects, this model might suffice. However, if you require substantial power or plan on using various attachments, especially wire wheels or belt sanders, you might be better off with a corded option or a different cordless model with a standard arbor size.

undersized arbor, a bit weak
I've been very impressed with most of the DeWalt clone 20v cordless tools I've gotten. But this one was a disappointment. It doesn't take much force stop it (on high or low). Maybe my expectations were too high? Initially I've been unimpressed with the power of several tools because of the battery instead of the tool itself. Sometimes an off brand battery just won't put out enough power for the tool to show its real capability. So I tried this with a fully charged new (real / genuine) DeWalt 5 ah battery. Its still less power than I was expecting. For a non-scientific wild guess: it may be comparable to one of those very low end ($20) corded disc grinders. Its definitely a big step down in power from any of my legit corded grinders, even the small ones. But like I said, maybe my expectations were too high for a cordless tool? What really irks me is undersized arbor. 1/3 - 1/2 of the work I do with this size of grinder is using various wire wheels. They have a nut made into them, so they just screw on. But not on this grinder they don't. That is a totally unnecessary deficiency. Over 20 years ago I bought an angle grinder at a local store, and when I got home and realized the arbor wasn't the standard size - I returned it.If it wasn't free through vine, I'd return it. And I return far less than 1% of my purchases.

It works well for light duty tasks. I wouldn't trust it when doing anything super heavy.
I think this angle grinder is pretty nice. I wouldn’t say it outclasses any of the brand name stuff, but it definitely is good for the price. If all you’re looking to do is some simple, light cutting this is good enough. I would also consider getting a name brand corded one though, as this is about the same price as one of those. Here’s what I like about this angle grinder:-It is a brushless motor-It fits a DeWalt battery-It works fine-Comes with a wide range of disks-Fairly quiet when in use-Well balanced-It’s half the price of a brand name grinderAnd here’s what I don’t like about it:-It has a very odd sized thread (I believe it’s the arbor)-the wheel guard can come into contact with the diskThe biggest complaint I have, is that you can’t really attach anything to it. The issue is that the thread is a different thread than anything standard on the market. Meaning you can’t really use aftermarket wire wheels, or really anything that threads onto the arbor. The other thing I’d like to mention is that you might need to re-adjust the wheel guard a bit. Mine kept coming into contact with the wheel, and needed to be moved down, and retightened a couple times. Once it was in a good place though, it was completely fine.Overall, I think I would recommend this angle grinder, as it does work well, at least for light duty work. I don’t think I’d trust it to do any heavy duty work, but to each their own. It’s currently $54, and I think that’s a great price for it. I would look around for options though, if you don’t already have a DeWalt 20w battery. A corded angle grinder may be better, and can definitely provide way more torque than this can.

Solidly build angle grinder
I've used this grinder a few times since getting it and it works very well. I have a Dewalt version and this is easily just as good. That being said, only time will tell about how long lasting it is. But for the average DYI homeowner, this is a fine tool. There is a couple of features I like over my Dewalt version. This one shows the battery level. The other thing is, it has a variable speed output. 3 Settings, Low, Med and high. Nice feature in some circumstances.Good value item.

Not Recommended (Battery Sold Separately
I failed to notice that this didn't come with a battery, so I am giving this three stars despite being unenthusiastic about it because I couldn't test the power.Mine arrived damaged from the factory with significant scraping. There is no onboard storage for the wrench. It only has two attachment points for the handle as opposed to three. It is much lighter and much easier to hold than my master craft due to its narrower handle. It fits all my standard cut-off/grinding wheels designed for a 5" arbor (4.5" wheels). The guard requires a screwdriver to install/remove. NOTE: it is possible just to muscle the guard into a new position but you will have to make a point of tightening now and again. My master craft version has more features, is definitely better built and includes a battery for only slightly more and it frequently goes on sale.

Beware, does not come with battery
I recently got the Angle Grinder Cordless for Dewalt 20V Max Battery, and I was pretty disappointed to find out it doesn't come with a rechargeable battery. This meant I couldn't even test how well it works. The grinder itself looks good, and the 5-piece blade set seems like it could be handy, but without a battery, it's hard to say for sure. If you're planning to buy this, just know you'll need to purchase the battery separately to get any use out of it. Two stars because I expected it to be ready to go out of the box.

Decent home grinder. No battery.
The Wisehigh Angle Grinder Cordless for Dewalt 20V Max Battery doesn't come with a battery. That was very clear in the description and I did not expect one. I am surprised at the reviewers taking off stars because of that. The grinder has a good heft to it and works great with the Dewalt battery or a Makita battery and adapter in my case. I have a pile of one type of batteries and adpaters for the few tools that are not Makita or Chinese equivalent.I tried out the grinder and it is OK, but on the weaker side. I was surprised because the weight made me think it was heavy duty professional quality.Still if you are a DIY person who only need a grinder once in a while, this is a fine tool to have on the shelf. It even comes with a set of disks. Just go easy and take your time. Rome was not ground down in a day.Personally, I think it could be a bit cheaper. It is at the high end of the reasonable price range, but I am glad to have it.
