this is a real good deal. vent is exactly as described. the only thing bad is that you need to add a duct extension or duct connect to go through a 2x4 construction wall. vent opens and closes very well. would buy again but don't need to since i got two really nice vents.

We are moving our washer and dryer to another wall in our laundry room and this time the vent has to be invented so to speak. This vent is very nicely made and feels like it will last forever being made out of stainless steel. We have to wait till the contractor will come and install the new washer/dryer and the vent to the outside wall, but we are getting so excited about it, just knowing how nice it will look from the outside. There is a screen that helps keep the critters out and that makes me much happier to know that I won't have an errant bird, or heavens knows what taking up residence in the vent.
