AmazonBasics USB 3.1 Type-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter

Works perfectly well with SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 9 in dex mode. The reason i bought this and not the original samsung dex cable is the fact that this comes with a USB port which is very handy for me to connect my USB speakers (bose companion 5) and wireless mouse and keyboard (logitech) all at the same time via a USB hub. Feels like a total computer setup. I used the app OTG troubleshooter on play store to connect the USB devices together. The USB C port is useless. Instead of charging the phone, it depletes the battery. Says it will take 32 something hours to do a full charge but is totally useless. Got my package within 16 hours of placing the order.

Was looking for a hub for my new macbook pro and this popped up, bought it right away. Why i bought it instead of other options? Because it was cheaper than other ones and also a known brand and not some imported thing which would be without warranty.The picture quality is not deteriorated, no noise, can work continuously without any issues. It does get hot when used for long hours like 6-8 but does not affect its performance. Would buy it again if it fails. Highly recommended if you don't need more usb ports and need an hdmi port

This really good product after all its Amazon basics product why i am saying this because till date what ever i have order under this franchise result always good but over priced somewhat

USB-A storage and HDMI not working with HTC U11, only the charging port works, with HDMI popping up a message that it's not compatible. Everything working with the Samsung S8 though, so maybe something HTC screwed up.

The build quality is very good. Read speed is 4-5Gbps, I have tested so far. Write speed is 1-2 Gbps. somehow connecting multiple ports together except charger may result in extra latency or sometimes device may not even work. HDMI does great with 1080p.But does not work with 4K screens or monitor.Value for money. If short of budget definitely go for it.

I am a big fan of amazon basics products as they are top notch quality, usually. But with this product i had a different experience.Initially it worked fine, but now after a few months of usage, it has begun to overheat frequently. Once it overheats it really compromises the performance of my macbook pro. I am using it connect a 27" 4k monitor.The cable also has cracked at a couple of places near the ends.If you are looking to connect only monitors this is not the product for you.

Been using it for a while. I have been using a Macbook since 2008. And every new Macbook that I bought (I recently changed to MacBook pro 2018) needed a different adapter..and Apple adapters are 'expensive as hell!'. With the new Macbook pro 2018 (USB-C type outputs), Amazon Basics this adapter has been going like this is made just for this. Awesome! HDMI to a Tv, USB, and USC-C all three (even when connected together)...no problem...this adapter handled it well. Definitely recommended (if you loosing too much money on adapters brought from an apple store...I don't know....why Apple is not including these into 'recommended' list).

After a usage of 2 years it got torn from one side but still has inner wires intact and is working. They could have made it more sturdy but worth the price and it has hdmi, usb and c ports
