This is a far better (steel) pivot locking cam arrangement mechanism than the Drive brand new aluminum parts made one. It has far better leverage capability for more positive a holding power than the original equipment ones. Only trouble is the manufacture got the wrong sized mounting clamp blocks for 3/4” framed mounting, not 7/8” , so these were not able to be used to mount the brakes. This meant use the original clamping mount blocks.
