Reliable
**Reliable Solar Charger - A Great Choice!**I recently purchased this solar charger, and I must say, it was an excellent decision. The build quality is impressive, and the device feels durable and well-made. It charges quickly and efficiently, even in less-than-ideal sunlight conditions. The multiple USB ports are a convenient feature, allowing me to charge multiple devices simultaneously. It's lightweight and portable, making it perfect for outdoor adventures and emergencies. Overall, this solar charger has exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a dependable and eco-friendly charging solution.

Useful
I frequently utilize this device on my plate carrier for hiking and camping purposes. It retains its charge for a significant amount of time and charges relatively quickly when connected. However, the solar charging feature requires a substantial amount of time. While leaving it exposed to sunlight all day will charge it, you need to ensure it remains under sunlight consistently throughout the day. It has withstood a few drops on rocks without any damage. I own two of these devices. One is affixed to the back of my plate carrier underneath a camelbak, with a cable running through the shoulder strap, while the other is secured to the top of my hiking backpack using zip ties.

Electricity where and when you need it!!!!
I'm using two of these power packs for lamps in a book case that has no electrical outlets! Amazingly it is working so beautifully I couldn't of imagined! I didn't have to hire an expensive electrician (nothing personal to electricians) to wire in the electricity! It's so easy to charge these packs in about an hor or less and I'm good to go for a really really long time! And now my two built-in book cases in my livingroom have light! Yeah!!!

Deceptive marketing and junk
The seller and the battery state this is 38800mAh size when in fact it is an 8000mAh battery. Per my experience, mine did not charge by solar panel. The 0% to 100% battery level took about 34wh to charge. Factoring in an 85% efficiency rating for my charger and you get 8Ah battery, not 38Ah as stated. The battery is fairly light as expected from a lithium polymer cell. The compass gets stuck a lot and is not accurate in one orientation. Since I was sold this large capacity battery but received 1/5 the size I am returning this. I am very disappointed to see that I have to print my own labels to return this. Amazon should just credit me and let me toss this thing in the trash as I don’t trust this device. Buyer beware that you will be disappointed when this can’t charge your iPad even one time. It should be able to charge at least 3 times, maybe 4 it it really is the correct size.

Flashlight feature doesn't work. Otherwise satisfied with as a phone charger.

Good travel charger that could get you out of a bad situation
I got this charger to leave in my car so I always have extra power. Also, it is solar-capable, so I figure it would be good for an emergency situation, you never know! Of course the solar does not charge nearly as fast, but it does work. It even has a flashlight (with strobe ability) and a compass built into the back. It comes with a little carbine hook too. I like that is has more of a rugged feel to it, making it easier to hold. It feels reasonably weighty in your hand and can get thru several charges easily. You can charge two things at once. It can be charged with Micro USB or USB-C. No complaints.

definitely not as advertised
I have charged this charger to 100% capacity, and tested it by charging another power pack which has a known capacity of approximately 4000mah. In theory, this charger should charge my other power pack between 7-9 times over, however, it only seems to be able to charge it 1.5 times, which suggests that the true capacity of this charger is somewhere in the 8k-10k mah range, not the stated 38800 mah. In addition, the port cover popped off within its first day of use. I am keeping it, however, because the flashlight/strobe function is quite ample, it does hold a decent amount of charge, even though it's nowhere near the advertised amount, and because it does charge via solar (it does require several days worth of sunlight to charge fully, so be prepared to pre-charge it via USB if you can't afford to wait that long). As for the compass, it does, technically, work, although you have to hold the charger perfectly level to allow the disk to float in the water inside
