Great performance per dollar ratio
Satisfied with the performance! I got this on sale for about $50. Using a fanless laptop, I am getting 5-15C lower GPU temps (integrated motherboard GPU). On max, it is still quiet as long as it's not sitting right in front of your face. Distance matters for dB. It is 20-25dB at 3 inches from the rear intake. ~2.5 ft in front of it, it is 6dB. With another fan nearby it is mostly silent. Downside: every time you shutdown, it loses its setting and does not turn the fan back on by itself. You have to press the button each time. The lights turn on automatically. Both the lights and the fan setting start at an index value of 0. They should have made it so MAX was 0 and inverted the programming. You can shut off the lights by holding the button for 3 sec. Because it is so quiet, I assume the fans could be turned up to a higher RPM than what they maxed it out with. Maybe a DIYer could figure out how to make it better.

Lowers temps considerably on MSI gaming laptop
Works great and lowers temperatures considerably on our new MSI Vector GP68HX. The fans are indeed loud but more quiet than the laptop at max fan settings. Can now run games on balanced fan settings without throttling.

Great cooling and easy to use anywhere.
It's not as bulky as I thought it would be, and I like the fact that the fans intake is in the back so I can use this in bed without blocking airflow. The only ones that would be better for cooling would be the cooling pads that have their own power source. -edit- I started playing higher end games and left the laptop cooler on Max speed, it is loud enough to cover the sound of my laptop speakers and people can hear it through the mic sometimes. I feel like the models with bigger fans on the bottom would be quieter and possibly more effective. Still a really good cooling pad, just the annoying fans they used whine loudly.

Works great, mines a little faulty though.
Looks awesome, cools off my laptop, but the magnets on the rubber strip werent adhered to the foam rubber and tore off the first time I took it off. Wish I could buy a replacement foam rubber strip to go on there because ive been using it without the rubber strip since it tore. Removing a star for build quality. While it's functionality is 10/10 and cools off the laptop very well, the entire thing is made of very cheap plastic, especially the top part. Fan bearings started making a little noise after 2 days as well. If this was made of better materials and parts, I would have paid 3x the price for it. Don't get me wrong, this is a great cooler, but don't expect it to hold up against traveling whatsoever.

Works really well for gaming laptop.
Purchased this to help cool my son's gaming laptop which was overheating and shutting down frequently due to intense use. Had purchased a different cooler that did not work well, so did research and decided on this unit. Works absolutely fantastically, keeps the laptop cool and is very quiet. My son is quite happy with the unit and I am considering purchasing another on for myself.

save your money and time
Okay first off what i typed for review in the clip doesnt match because the page errored and wiped everything when i went to upload the clip. So lets rewrite this over again. I do NOT recommend this KLIM Everest laptop cooling pad [2024]. Its clearly a paid gimmick with a majority of the reviews and the one clip used for advertising; and I shouldve remembered the Xbox 360 Aftermarket coolers. These are exactly the same concept. You cannot change restrictive airflow by trying to add more air. All youll do is increase the pressure of air in the circulatory ventilation of the system, which does not equate to more air. If the volume is 10 cubic centimeters per second, when its at capacity, it will always be 10 cubic centimeters per second. Its also supposed to separate the intake from the outtake so you dont suck in already hot air. It does have that separation in design with a nice magnetic foam seal. The trick is when you sit your laptop on it, that the intake is on the bottom of your laptop and your outtake vents are the back of your laptop. Then you have these plastic plates you put on like fins to guide the hot air away from the rear intakes. Cool design in theory just doesnt actually work. This whole thing was a fail for me and today is exact 30 days from purchase, not 30 days of in-hand use. The Fan bearings blew out or something so it sounds horrible. I didnt mind the fan noise even at max when they didnt make this noise. They were not as loud as many claimed. Ive had enough of shady products being on Amazon and there being no proper regulations. For me with my ASUS TUF Gaming A16, I saw ZERO difference with the thermal readings across HWMonitor, CPUID, Core Temp, MyASUS/Armoury and even G-Helper; before using this KLIM Cooler Pad and after. My Peak temperatures were 96C; which is hot imo, but its not critical. All laptops run hot, especially gaming laptops. Playing the latest games runs anywhere between 73C-96C depending on their optimization of course. The First Descendant (Unreal Engine 5 game which i want to point out) peaks at 96C. Its not completely optimized. My gaming PC peaks the same game at 76C. Again laptops vs PC will have a big difference in temps and temp control. This cooling pad made zero impact at all, except almost $60 hole in my wallet.

The KLIM Everest is a powerful, well-built cooling pad with smart design and strong airflow. The adjustable angles and LCD screen are great additions. What truly makes KLIM stand out is their outstanding customer support — fast, helpful, and human. This was my first KLIM product, and it won’t be my last. Highly recommended!

Me arrepiento no haberlo comprado antes. 100% recomendado.

I got the cooling pad for my ASUS ROG G15 and it really helped me to deal with the hot summer temperatures and it also kept the cooling system of the laptop perfectly clean - thanks to the integrated air filters! There was an issue with buttons on my cooling pad but the support team dealt with it very nicely and I am very happy with this cooling pad. It is rather loud on the higher settings but it is to be expected rom a high performance cooling pad, it gets the job done perfectly fine.
