Bought this for a 2-year-old, and it allows him to play safely with kitchen stuff in Montessori type activities. The play engages and holds his attention for quite a while…a win for harassed parents. Much safer than just having a child standing on a stool…toddlers don’t understand physics.

Gorgeous just like the photos! Assembly was so easy and minimal!!! Great quality and safe!

PROS - Pretty quick to collapse and expand - Feels plenty sturdy - Fully closed in (for unstable kiddos) - A decent platform size for kiddos to get goofy in CONS - Teeny feet that stick out of the bottom for stability have absolutely murdered all the toes in my house - Too heavy to move easily with one hand, and doesn't lock closed to help the process - Still takes up a decent amount of space when collapsed - The flat nature of the sides means that cabinet handles might prevent the top of the tower from being flush with the counter, which results in lots of spilled items - Silicon foot pad collects all kinds of debris and creates nooks and crannies for yucky stuff to get trapped in - Harsh wooden edges make climbing in and out difficult and a little painful for my toddler, who opts not to do it It's been working fine, but I find myself coming up with excuses for not pulling it out. Since we have a younger kiddo who will need a tower too, I'm finally replacing it with a lighter, plastic one.

I debated buying this for a while due to the price…seems like a lot for a kids stool. We have only had it for a few weeks and as far as I am concerned it has paid for its self. Instead of grabbing my legs and or covering the living room in toys while we make dinner my 19 month old daughter now happily hangs out at the counter with us. She colors or “helps” prep food, and is generally just happy to be able to see what we are doing. We even move it over to the dinner table if we are eating after her so she can see what we are up to without having to be on a lap the whole time which is what she constantly wanted before. Just pull the trigger and buy it, you will regret waiting.
