Absolutely love this!
I am glad I bought this when it was discounted almost half price on amazon - what a value for my money! But I must say, I could still get this if it wasn't. Because it is really easy to use, and you make any shape of pasta in less than 10 minutes! Auto measure is a life saver. You don't even need to keep checking how much flour/water you need to add as it measures and gives you. It looks really nice and modern on your kitchen counter. the basket to keep all heads is a great touch! One suggestion though: follow the instructions for flour and water exactly as it says. I added a little bit more water without realising and it turned into a disaster to clean up after and I wasted all the dough. So follow the instructions and you will have great tasting, healthy homemade pasta! It is also amazing that it can make cookies too :)

I think you should get this thing
I’m not a prolific review writer but this machine has been so good and now about 5-6 months has passed so I think I can give a decent honest review. Good things about it: it is pretty quiet, it’s so easy to weigh/measure the ingredients it literally guides you by the nose, it feels premium, all the extra dies tidy away inside it, you can buy extra off-brand dies (we mostly use just 2, linguine and lasagne), it doesn’t waste a lot of ingredients. You might be thinking of it’s another kitchen gadget this will be a faff, but no. I start making my ragu and run this in the background with the pasta dropping straight into my empty pot, then later when the ragu is ready I just stick the salted pasta on to boil for about 8 mins max - just enough time to grate some cheese and get the plates out and boom. And the best/worst bit, once you’ve tasted fresh made pasta you won’t want dried again. My kids now ask before pasta dishes, “Is it home pasta or shop pasta?” with a marked difference in enthusiasm depending on what I say. We buy a bulk box of the good pasta grain and it works exactly as it should with the machine. Not tried the water-pasta setting, only the egg-pasta so can’t comment there. Bad things about it: Wish someone else would clean it so I don’t have to! Really though most of the bits go in the top of the dishwasher so even that’s not actually a problem. It is also pretty heavy if you were needing to move it in and out of a cupboard to use its but ours lives on the counter as it’s used about 3 times a week. You should probably just get this to be honest, incredible pasta awaits you!

Excellent
absolutely brilliant piece of kit. My only gripe would be that there are lots of spaghetti type attachments and only nozzle for pasta shapes (rigatoni). But very quick and easy to use - can easily knock some fresh pasta up in 10 mins so it gets used on week nights after work with no drama!

Quite a few gripes
As far as making pasta goes, this does all I wanted it to (although the shapes are limited pretty much to long things of various widths. There is a rigatoni function but stay away as cleaning the disk takes ages). HOWEVER, there are no instructions (a QR code which doesn't work but 2 leaflets in every language under the sun saying nothing at all. Dear manufacturers, we neither want instruction booklets in a range of languages, nor do we want QR codes for everything.) I do not have a smart phone so was trawling through the internet trying to find the right manual. After initially getting the wrong one and wondering why my machine didn't work, I subsequently found out that the weighing feature meant you could not put all your ingredients in at once (too late, I had already done so). In short, some initial frustrations and some big grumbles about how difficult it is to clean the extrusion disks, but the rest of the machine is easy enough to clean. It's quite tricky putting on the front place to attach the disks and this is a bit of a design flaw. I feel this may not stand the test of time. Pasta is fun, quick and easy to make, but I haven't yet sorted the perfect recipe as there are no cooking times given and I feel I am possibly under cooking it. It takes longer than bought fresh pasta to cook and is often a bit tough. In all, overpriced, but at half price I'm glad I bought one.

Perfect. Trust the measurements!
Excellent item. Very impressed with speed and function. Trust the process! The dough looks dry and crumbly which works perfect. 500g AP flour and 175ml liquid mixed in 3 mins, extruded as quick as it took for the water to boil. Do not make the dough wetter! Worked perfect without resting or drying (which may improve it even more) 15mins all in from flour to cooked Pasta. Great!
