Replacement Carafe for Moccamaster KBG Coffee Maker Brewers Technivorm (89830) 10-Cup 1.25L 40oz, Glass Coffee Pot

This carafe looks and fits just like the original. The only differences are improvements. The glass is thicker, hopefully will last longer than the original one, I’ve replaced it 3 times already, breaks just looking at it and the pour spout drips. This one doesn’t drip, also it’s dishwasher safe, original no. Happy with my purchase.

I thought it might be a good idea to have a replacement carafe on hand in case anything happens to the factory carafe since they are so thin and fragile. This one feels heavier. I have decided to use it for my daily coffee and save the factory carafe for if or when this one breaks. I’m very pleased with this one 👍

I cannot pour out of this carafe without coffee spilling everywhere. Even pouring ridiculously slow the coffee dribbles all over around the spout.

No issues at all and in fact a bit thicker than the OEM replacement I am replacing. More like the original that came with the coffee maker many years ago. The poor spout is a little bit different but I know no issues with dripping, etc..

Much better design than the original! Pours much easier.

We got this one because it was $10 cheaper and I don’t necessarily regret it, but it is annoying that it spills if you pour too fast. As long as you pour slowly, it works just fine. The quality is otherwise the same as the one our coffee pot came with.
