Harry Callahan: French Archives: Aix-En-Provence 1957-1958 Hardcover – Import, 27 June 2017

If you admire Callahan's photography, this should be on your shelf. The book is very well-printed. Short essay written by MacGill, someone who actually knew and worked with Callahan, gives us great insights to the artist. Hurwiz's essay is also very helpful in placing this body of work within Callahan's illustrious career. Some of the photographs are well-known (the landscape nudes), and some are lesser known (streets photographs in Provence), but all are beautiful, and carefully-composed photographs.
