Perfect!
I just started drinking Matcha and needed something to mix it up with. When I opened the box, first I was impressed at how well it was packaged. Everything was tight and secure. The bowl is larger than I expected, but oh how gorgeous. This set is perfect for the beginner or expert. The frother is powerful and makes my Matcha Latta nice and frothy. Loving this purchase.

Great matcha set
This is a great low cost matcha set. No, it's not the quality level of the high level ceremonial sets, but it still works just fine for all but the most finicky picky people. This set has all the basics one needs and some unnecessary, but nice to have extras. The mixing/drinking bowl feels sturdy enough. It's large enough for mixing without spilling. I'm still not used to drinking out of a cup with a spout. I'm just used to mixing and drinking out of the same bowl...but without the spout. I understand the spout though, especially for those not too concerned with authenticity or simplicity (I know, having extras kind of goes against some of the spirit of the matcha ceremony, but that discussion is for another time). The spout does make pouring into another cups easier/less drippy. This is good enough to drink out of. Just be mindful of the spout that sticks out. The standard bamboo scoop is a good size and it works. The bamboo whisk is a good size and it works just as well as the more expensive Japanese handmade ones i first learned with as a kid. The whisk holder is not entirely necessary, but it does help with keeping the whisk shape and drying. The sifter is not entirely necessary either, but it definitely does make mixing matcha easier, quicker since it cuts down a lot on clumps. The tea/powder caddy here is tiny. It's not necessary, but a nice addition. I keep my matcha in an airtight, watertight tin for freshness, but if you're not concerned with that, this definitely works and matches the rest of the set. Lacquered wood is also a commonly seen material for caddies besides ceramic. The cloth here works. It adequately cleans up any water or power. I'm used to plain ones, but I don't mind if it's decorated. Tea caddies and clothes for wiping are definitely not something I'm all that picky about unless I'm trying to do a serious tea ceremony, along with the whole dress up, ritual, better serene location, etc. song & dance, which is rare. The little duck chopstick/scooper rest is definitely not necessary, but at least it looks cute. I'm used to just resting the scooper on a bowl (such as water bowl or other empty bowl, not the drinking bowl...since you need to drink out out of it obviously), but I'm not mad at them for including a little rest. I'm not sure why they didn't have this match the rest of the set. The electric frother is definitely very redundant and unnecessary. I stick with the bamboo whisk, which is much easier to control, especially if you care about how frothy/not frothy you like your matcha. With that said, the electric frother works reliably far and is easy enough to use, and I won't turn down a free frother. This set does not come with matcha powder. Please go get yourself some good quality matcha. It makes a huge difference in taste, especially compared to the really cheap stuff. Also, try out different water (not boiling) to powder ratios to figure out what you personally like. I tend to prefer less water than what a lot of lower end shops & matcha/tea company tins/boxes instruct, but you may prefer yours lighter.

Good entry level Matcha Set
This matcha making set provides the novice with all the tools necessary to begin making green tea matcha (with the added benefit of an electric stirrer for added convenience). It's also affordable so whilst it isn't the same quality as one of the expensive sets you'd get in a specialty shop in Japan, it does provide the owner with a set that makes great matcha everyday.

Love this matcha kit
I really love this matcha kit. I just recently got into Matcha, and I loved being able to use all the tools necessary to make it. The only thing I would complain about is that the milk-frother should not be used in the ceramic bowl because it'll just damage it right away. Other than that, this kit makes matcha brewing so easy.

Cute set - instructions would help!
Really cute set, however I am an absolute beginner so I wish there was a little more guidance on what everything is and how to use it. Nothing a little Google search didn’t cure, but nonetheless would be cool in the packaging from a user experience to make it seamless and accessible. Otherwise excited to try it! By the way, frother uses 2x Double AA batteries. :)

A thoughtfully arranged kit, probably the top of end of budget in terms of quality.
This is a pretty nice set, collectively, even if the individual pieces maybe aren't as nice as something you'd pick up on your own. Also I'd say there's probably more here than you need, which is not a negative per se, but it adds some unnecessary clutter. But all the tools you need are here and they each work well. The whisk and the bowl aren;t as perfect a match as some other pairings I've used, in terms of allowing you to whisk the tea against the bottom nicely, but it's fine. The frother I've not used, as I never add milk or milk substitutes.I think it would make a nice gift, and I do like the inclusion of the small mat, which can help keep the surface free from drips and spills of matcha.
