I couldn’t live without this, I’m disabled, I struggle to control my body temperature. When out it’s not possible to grab ice pack from freezer, I keep several in my bag. It’s a life safer, goes cold really quickly after a couple of punches. Had a few shop assistants punching them for me with no idea what was going on or other customers, but it brought my temperature down and avoided me losing consciousness. It last. 20-30 minutes cold. It’s also great, when I’ve fallen or something has fallen on me to be able to use it. I’ve tried several makes and for me this was the best one, both in quality, going cold, staying cold, and how cold it gets. I’ve. Probably bought over 150 in all now. Only 2 were faulty.

I bought these for long journeys where my reusable ice packs can’t be rechilled in time. They are a good size for larger areas of pain and seem able to take the pressure of being leaned against/on without bursting. The packs are much easier to use than others I’ve experienced- just a small amount of pressure to pop the sachet inside that makes them go cold. They stay cold for a decent amount of time, and can even be refrozen a few times in a freezer - although beware to give them time to soften and warm slightly before putting near your skin. Refreezing more than a few times seems to cause deterioration of the plastic and associated leaking, so they really are disposable ones rather than the reusable gel ones. Perfect for my use. Would also be very efficient as sport event first aid.
