I used mine today for the first time. I have to say I am impressed with the steam boost,!it’s pretty powerful. Nice weight to the whole unit so feels like it’s robust. I got six pads with mine. Not sure how long the will last after the washing machines. Let’s see. They feel pretty strong. Very easy to put together , took 2 mins. The only issue I had was unpacking it. Jeeps! There was a lot of packing ! We have several dogs so floor cleaning is critical. So far this feels like the best steamer I have had.

Whilst a five star review is quite generous, there are just a few things small things that shark could do that would improve this. Things like the cable tidy as usual with all upright vacuum cleaners and this type of thing the cable tides are awful and the water tank filling it could be slightly redesigned to make it a little easier. It isn’t difficult but it is fiddly saying that a full water tank will do a very good area. I have a 90 meter apartment and it doesn’t use a full tank and nearly all of my floors are hard floors except two bedrooms which do have carpets I have found some fun ways to use this because it is so easy and it is a pleasure cleaning the floor when I moved here a few weeks ago there was just an ordinary mop. I’m trying to clean the floor was back breaking. I am quite tall and using a mop bucket nearly broke my back so I looked around and I opted for this and I am pleased I did so unpacking it is a bit of a mission. It is not easy it is quite difficult putting it together. It’s very easy but the unpacking is yuck! At least you only have to unpack it one time it has a nice weight not overly heavy but it certainly is not light when an operation as to switch it on and leave for a couple of minutes for the steamed to generate once it has done that which is only maybe two or three minutes you are good to go, to start the pad rotating just tilt it back on the pad will start rotating automatically and you will notice it’s pulling you away but it is pulling you away in a good way which means it feels like it. It is just gliding across the floor and with a slight tilt of the rest you change direction the coverage is excellent even though you have two rotating bad they do not leave a streak in the middle. I do use a floor detergent with the mix and it dries within one to 2 minutes which was surprising by the time I have got to the end of the cleaning everything is dry. I’ve also discovered how to adapt it. I have a fairly large walk in shower which I often fear of slipping in so I decided to try this in the shower to clean the shower tray and it works amazingly since I’ve done this the shower tray does not have any slip on it at all and I felt safe showering again I can highly recommend this if you have a relatively large hard floor area which you like to keep nice and clean. I have had many comments about how clean my floor is and how shiny it is and I think the shy is probably down to the detergent that I’m using. I’ve never used it before so it is all new to me but I’m extremely happy I didn’t want to give this four stars just because there are a couple of things that you could do with tweaking from shark so it has to be a five. Storage is very easy. It’s less than a vacuum cleaner and is very stable upright. If you’re looking for something that does a very good job that is easy and light and easily to manoeuvre then it’s perfect. It is not the cheapest on the market and perhaps not the highest rated but for my purpose and I am a bit of a clean freak this works very very well.

Great steam map very light to use and easy fit pads. Delighted with purchase and tank is easy to take out refill and fits back into machine nice long cable and does a good job cleaning the floor, The jet steam nozzle great for tough stains. Would highly recommend

Overall, I’m satisfied that it’s killing bacteria, removing hidden grease and pulling up dirt. Just doing my kitchen and living room, the pads look 40% dirtier compared to new and usually I sweep / antibac mop with kettle water once a week or so. Positives; Very light weight (one hand) and does the work for you compared to a mop, easy to manoeuvre about (I’d recommend for elderly / disabled) - decent power chord length - quick drying - easy to build, the handle just clicks in and remove all packaging. Stands upright with no support. Negatives; Small water tank, doesn’t leave that ‘clean’ feeling after like a mop would… Price is wayyy too steep for what you get Had this been £95 or under, absolutely a steal. But at the time paying £139 it’s got me questioning to return or not as it’s expensive / upper end for output, you’re basically paying an extra £65 premium just because it’s Shark and the pads spin for a better scrub. Honestly it really depends on usage, if you spill a lot of food with little ones or pets sure it’s great (or stone surfaces), for general sensible cleaning on standard laminate it is overkill.

I have had a couple of steam mops over the years, but this feels far more robust than others I have used, which were around the same price point. It arrived well packaged and was very easy to assemble and get started with as instructions were clear and simple. I have two dogs that love mud, so it is used on a daily basis and so far so good. A couple of points to note is that the floor is not overly wet and dries very quickly, even with using the deep clean option and then steam blasting it. The pads clean up well by using a liquid detergent and cord length is very good. All in all I am very happy with my purchase in terms of value for money and performance. I would recommend it.

Had this steam mop now for a couple of weeks and have been very happy with it. We have two large dogs who get very mucky after being in the garden and our old steam mop wasn’t performing so well. This mop has made steaming through so much quicker and the results have been great particularly in high traffic areas where the dogs come in from outside. The cord is a lot longer than other steamer cleaners so you can cover a far greater area without the need to move to a different socket to reach. The pads are very easy to attach and stay in place very well whilst steaming. You have to make sure they’re aligned well otherwise there is some shake but it’s easy to set them. I would definitely recommend this cleaner as it has made the job of cleaning the floors so much quicker and the performance has been great so far.

Really pleased with this. It's very light to manover and makes easy work of the daily dirt and grime accumulated by dogs, kids and general foot traffic.
