Works great for charging phone when using it for gps.
I use this as an out of the way charging cable for my phone when I use it for gps. I'm not sure what kind of amps it's putting out, but it will charge my phone when it's set to full brightness. So it is at least 1ah.It stays plugged in tightly, it's not going to just fall out. I'm not sure what the difference in the switch settings are, I can't see a difference between the two settings.Overall I would buy it again, 4 stars because I have only been using it for about a month. Works great so far.

Doesn't work fully.
The device doesn't provide power to my camera when I started the car. It does provide power if I unplug it and plug it back into the socket but when i turned off my car and start it back on then it doesn't work. I have to manually unplug and plug it back everytime to get power. Very troublesome.
