I will review this how I would want reviews to be
I bought this mattress after having looked and looked and wondered for weeks if I was going to choose the wrong option and have regret.Other mattresses had polarizing reviews. This one has better ones but some people still dislike it.I will tell you all about my experience with it so far. I bought this one in twin size and it arrived fast and it was all shrink wrapped in a plastic, rolled up and in a box. The box is heavy yes. I took it out in a space with enough room to decompress it, and near where I planned to keep it.I made sure not to cut the mattress when opening. It immediately inflated nearly all the way, but it took another few hours to appear correct. It had no areas that did not get to full height after one day. There was one corner that seemed a bit crushed. I had an idea to kind of help it along by manipulating it a bit and it did get to normal height soon after. This did become its full size. Also, it has absolutely no bad scents or issues with weird materials or anything. It smelled like almost nothing right from the box. It has its own material zip on cover. This is not a bedbug protector type cover, rather just material to keep the mattress a bit cleaner. There were no insect or stain issues whatsoever on mine.this mattress has one side that is called firm, one that is called medium and soft.it has 3 different firmnesses in one mattress. You can tell the difference between them, and firm side is what I used most.It feels very firm to the touch on firm side, but there’s give. I gave it a try and slept on it firm side up. I am a woman who is 5’0 and weighs around 160 pounds. In the places I am heavier like my center and hips I sank into the firm side some, but I never sank down too far, it never hits the bottom of whatever it is laying on top of. It still has mattress under me even when seated cross legged on it.Sleeping on firm side- I have pain in bony areas when prolonged pressure is placed. I do not move much while sleeping, and wake up sore a lot. On this mattress on firm side I have not had pressure or nerve issues even once so far.Over time the side i have slept on has only softened slightly, it springs back up when I leave the mattress and has kept its shape. I have had it about 5 months or so now.Firm side- My legs and arms do not sink in when laying down but my body does a bit. It has given good back support also. Someone who needs slightly less firmness can flip it and use the other side because the other side is medium and a little softer.Softer side feels like it has more give. Not a lot more but some. There is a noticeable difference, but it isn’t completely extreme or anything. What’s different is that the softer side you sink slightly more and it’s softer on areas where your body weighs less such as legs etc.Soft side- also springs right back up when you leave the mattress. It hasn’t lost its shape over these months. I would suggest that if you are placing the soft side down, and are using a daybed or platform that has slats or bars you place a flat surface between just in case to avoid indents but the instructions say it’s ok on slats. I don’t want to risk it. I will tell you what I did even though it may sound odd to some prose. I got several free large parcel boxes from the post office that come flat and slid them flat between my mattress and slats and it has protected it free of charge. However, soft side feels nice if you want a pretty firm option but with more surface give.Neither side caused me pain. I have had less pain in fact. If at any time for some reason you have an injury or pain in places you can flip to softer side. If you like a very firm mattress but like to have something on it, such as a think blanket over it, or a mattress pad, it works that way too. I tried that.Another thing about this mattress is, it does not transfer much motion at all. In fact, I have sat on this mattress on my computer, or phone, and had a cup of beverage or can of soda just sitting there on a different part of the firm side, and it didn’t fall or spill when I stood up and forgot about it being there. The only drawback I might see with a mattress of this type, is it can’t be flipped monthly like people do, without having to use a different firmness on the other side. This mattress states that it has 3 levels of firmness not just 2.From what I can tell- The third level is either at one end of one side and is so you can have less pressure at your head, or legs. Or maybe it is softer to one side. I am not yet certain. Whatever that means it has not effected how it feels in any negative way.If you are in one area on here for a long while and you have made an indent with your body, and you want to move over, in your heaviest area it takes a few seconds to redepress for you. It is not as extreme as on memory foam though. It also has not caused me to feel overheated. It does collect a bit of body heat in the places you are laying, but in my case this is not extreme and has not bothered me.If you like a very firm feel, I think you will enjoy the firm side. Firm side is indeed firm, but not horribly so in my opinion. It’s not like you are sitting on the solid floor or anything, it’s soft but has a lot of support. You will not sink much. It doesn’t bounce around or anything either. If you sit there and move all over the place, items on the bed, like a laptop or blankets, will not be moving all over the place. When searching for a mattress, my fears were that if I chose one that calls itself firm it wouldn’t be. If I chose medium I feared it would actually feel really soft. I feared it would have a toxic odor but it does not. I also feared that I would choose one that when I sat on it my body would depress down until I could feel the floor or platform. I weigh 160 and only sink about 2 inches. If you are heavier I think you will still have mattress space beneath you.when you first lay on this, you are probably going to say to yourself Oh no! I am just laying on top and not indenting whatsoever, this is too hard! The sinking takes time on here. Also after a couple weeks it worked better. If you are a person with an issue in your ribcage area, and you are lighter than I am in weight you may want to use the softer side. I had a sore ribcage temporarily and firm side made it more noticeable but softer side didn’t.i have lung disease and sleep slightly elevated on pillows at times. When I do this is very comfortable.I feared that the mattress would lose its shape fast and keep indents. So far this has not happened. The area I sleep most on has become only ever so slightly softer, and it’s not noticed unless I actually feel around, i’d not noticeable while laying at all and I can update after more time.I am happy with my mattress and glad I got this one. I think I made a good choice for the price range. If I feel like a softer surface I can flip it around. I like having that option depending on how I feel that day or night.I am happy with it.

Extremely Comfortable
I was a little skeptical being it was a mattress in a box but this mattress is extremely comfortable. I wake up without joint pain. I absolutely love it.

It’s soft, but perfect for your back.
This mattress is pretty good. It’s soft but firm to sleep on, like it feels like form toy but when you sleep on it doesn’t sink down your body. This is exactly whAt we want it. We had on when we move in to the new house. As shown on the picture it was on the carpet. Now we put it on my son room for him to sleep on it. It was great quality. Worth to buy.

Didn’t expand to 10 in
The mattress is nice, my only complaint is that it did not expand to the full 10 inches. As some others has stated the corners especially. Still an overall nice mattress. Just for the price it should be the full 10 inches. Manufacturing instructions were followed to allow time for full expansion.

So Comfy!
I have now been sleeping on this mattress for over a month, and it was definitely worth the purchase! I’m not someone who likes super firm, or super soft mattresses and this was the perfect median. I have just enough softness to bounce and feel like I’m on a cloud but also enough firmness to hold my body weight and not wake up sore. I use to have a lot of trouble sleeping on my previous mattress, I’d wake up sore from all angles and wasn’t really thinking it had anything to do with my choice of mattress until I decided to make the switch, and now I’m in a world of difference. I haven’t woken up sore once in the last month, and my sleep quality has improved. The shipping and opening process was easy as well, we just unravel and let fluff for 24 hours and the mattress was ready. I did this with my last mattress purchase and it had an awful chemical smell and I also thought that was the normal, this time.. no chemical smell at all. I guess purchasing the right mattress really does make all the difference. If you’re considering this mattress, just do it! You won’t be disappointed.

Great mattress for my toddler
I purchased this mattress for my daughter who is transitioning from a crib to a twin bed. I wanted a mattress with more than one firmness option so she is able to adjust for her comfort as she grows. I love that this bed has two softer options on one side of the mattress (one at each end) as well as a firmer option on the opposite side. The gray mattress cover is thick and soft. I appreciate that it can easily be unzipped and removed if it needs to be washed. The mattress arrived shrink wrapped and in a box. I opened it in a guest bedroom so it would have room to expand and because I was worried it would have a strong smell at first. It expanded to its full size within a few hours and I never smelled any odor at any point. My daughter hasn’t slept on the mattress yet as we are still awaiting her new bed frame and new bedding- supply chain issues. However, we lay on it throughout the day and she talks about how comfortable it is. I’m very happy with this purchase and my daughter is very excited for her new bed.

Quality Mattress for Good Sleep
The mattress is very comfortable with the ideal firmness I want. It is cozy and supportive to my back. I have been enjoying it with the best sleep I ever had. No more squeaky springs which is noisy and irritating. The mattress is CertiPUR-US Certified, which is free of unhealthy foam. I didn't smell anything. It came pristine. The mattress also has a cover made with breathable Rayon fabric. I can easy take it out to wash it. The cool part of the mattress is that you can use either side, flappable depends on your preference on firmness. The package came quickly and the mattress decompress within 24 hours. It spread quietly without jumping up from the box. I was little leery about purchasing mattress on a box. It worked out well.

Comfy mattress
My sons old mattress was mine from college and totally uncomfortable. I took a chance buying this and am not disappointed! It arrived in a small box and was really condensed. Didn’t look like a mattress but as soon as it was unrolled and allowed time to form… It’s a really comfy mattress. He’s been sleeping in his bed all night! When I cuddle with him to read books I find it super comfy too. Not too soft but not too firm. Good balance.
