Saved my party from being cancelled!
I bought this for a garden party I was having when rain was threatening to cancel the whole event. This saved the day. It's easy to put up with simply labelled poles and fixings ( it took 4 of us one hour put it up and fix lights in the canopy). Dismantling is also easy. Two years later and it as good as new and still being used

Heavy duty marquee/Gazebo 12 x24'
I bought this for My kids party in August. It arrived in two separate deliveries both requiring a signature. The boxes were too heavy for me to move on my own from the garage. It took 4 tall young men three hours with a lot of head scratching to get it up. The main complaint being firstly that one of the joints was dented and so therefore the pole could not fit in, We did report this to the company but before they did anything they wanted a mass of photos In order for them to complain to the delivery company which simply we did not have time to do. We finally managed to straighten it ourselves by bashing it out with a hammer!Secondly the roof cover was very tight And we could not get it to fit the frame properly therefore the sides did not extend enough to secure it to the ground.Thankfully the weather was kind to us as the 4 tie downs and their attachments to the roof were flimsy and flapped around in the light wind. We would have been in deep trouble if it was raining and strong winds.I am not sure that I can agree with the company's advertising the marquee as been heavy duty & robust ......The pins for holding down the legs and securing the tie downs are definitely on the flimsy side and all of them are now bent!Having said all the above, We did get it up and it did the job, Which was much cheaper than hiring a proper marquee.

Solid product, great customer service
This tent frame is really solid and was easy to put up with 2 people (even on a windy day). However we did have to add extra ropes and stakes to peg it down as the wind was so strong. With a gentle breeze that wouldn't be necessary. The roof canopy and one side and end panel were badly stitched and so didn't fit the frame perfectly and so I wrote to them to ask for a replacement. This was no problem for them and they sent a replacement out within 24 hours.Overall, this is excellent value for money, large (we had 60 people in it on a rainy day) and I would recommend it as good value even if you may need to add a few guy ropes to it yourself.Only design flaw is you cannot peg sides to the ground which on a windy day isn't great but to be honest we didn't really notice. No complaints, good purchase.

Palm Springs Heavy Duty 4M X 8M Marquee
The marquee arrives in three fairly heavy boxes, which require two people to move them comfortably. The assembly instructions are a joke (and a Chinese one at that!), but with some head scratching it is posible to work out the correct order of assembly. Assembly takes two fairly tall strong individuals and about half an hour to complete, unless there happens to be a wind blowing, in which case I wouldn't even start! The material and the frame poles are reasonably robust, but the 4 tie downs and their attachments to the roof are only man enough for a Force 2 breeze. The pins for holding down the legs and securing the tie downs are also on the flimsy side, but then the whole caboodle is rather cheap! Dismantling can be interesting epecially if, as in my case, a Force 4 wind has attacked the marquee over night and the roof had lifted off three of its supporting poles. Again two tall, strong individuals are required. Overall, I would say that it is good value for money, but as with everything, you get what you pay for and on a cautionary note, I would always keep one eye on the weather forecast whilst the marquee is erected.

Recent stress test..
We bought one to use in our garden for a birthday party. Very easy to put up -instructions basic but perfectly clear. Obviously don't pick a windy day to try and put up any marquee unless you have plenty of help...I put it up the weekend before the party (on my own) - and then summer ended...The following week threw a mixture of strong winds and torrential rain at it - and a thunderstorm 6 hours before the party was due to start which tried to lift the whole thing off the ground. In the end the only damage was to the lower eyelets on the end walls - stretched beyond their limit by the wind.My main complaint is that the sides do not extend to allow fixing to the ground - so thy all tend to thrash about in the wind (I criss crossed the sides with some 4mm nylon reinforcing rope to limit the movement which worked reasonably well). Also note the long sides are one piece - so entrances are at the ends only unless you fold back either end of a side section - or cut it away and add your own zips! I would also recommend buying leg weights or ratcheting straps and some big pegs to hold the corners down.In conclusion good value - and if you are prepared to carry our a few running repairs and store it properly it will last well.
