Best tool you can have
Makes it easy to put those nasty tiny roll pins in without your gas block running all over the place

Know your block size before ordering.
This doesn’t fit a Ballistic Advantage .750 low profile gas block. It’s reallyclose though. Nothing a dremel can’t fix. Still gets 4 stars. The seller should update this listing with a max length and height.Update 07/16/2022Before I took the dremel to the jig, I tested it with a 2A Armament .750 Titanium gas block and it was a perfect fit.

A little too snug
I found the item to be a little too snug for my gas block. I installed two of my blocks and had to use my plastic hammer to knock it into the mold. I have always used standard width gas blocks and never had a problem with my other mold, which was lost when I moved several months ago. I used my Dremel to open it up a little on the sides and it works well now. Maybe a little flashing left over from the manufacturing process?

Doesn’t work for all gas blocks
Read the negative reviews, this doesn’t fit. Fantastic idea, but bad creation. I haven’t tried the gas blocks from the manufacturers explicitly mentioned in the details for this product but I can tell you it doesn’t fit most of your normal retailer gas blocks. Granted it’s probably only off by 1/16” but I can’t pound a gas block into this thing with a armorers hammer. Even took a dremel to try and shave some metal off but still couldn’t make it work. Reading the comments of other purchasers I would say you have maybe 3-5 gas blocks in the world that actually fit into this thing. Gave 2 stars on the off chance it actually fits the 4 retailers they mention but definitely a lie when they say “works with most gas blocks.” Buyer beware

Works with Geissele .750 low pro gas block
As some of the other reviews state, this IS NOT a universal gas block jig. But I myself only needed it for my Geissele.750 low pro gas block and it WORKED BEAUTIFULLY. Read other reviews to see if someone mentions the gas block you are using it for.

Good quality
Although this block fits "most" gas blocks, it does not fit Aero Precision gas blocks. This block measures @ 1.005 in.Aero precision measures @ 1.035 in. I won't send it back,I think with a Dremel tool I can grind .030 inches off. About the thickness of a flat toothpick. So if your gas block comes with specs, it should work as long as it is under 1.005in.

Did not fit Aero Precision gas block
Did not fit my .750 Aero Precision gas block. I made it work by turning the gb sideways and it held it enough for me to get my pin in. I know it said it would not work for every single gas block but that one has to be one of the most purchased and used gas blocks out there. If the gas block fits I can definitely see that it would be a huge help. Designing my own tool now.

A handy little tool to have if you are a AR15 builder.
This wasn’t a perfect fit for my gas block but it was good enough. It provided a stable foundation to drive the roll pan in to the gas block. I would also recommend putting a little tape on the tool to protect it from damaging the finish of the gas block. With this tool and a decent set of roll pin punches you can install the gas block pin in a couple of minutes.
