Treat Dispensing Chew Ball, Large

The large size is great! My 80lb foster pup pushes it around. It keep him occupied for sometime. Since he has dog reactivity/behavioral problems, he cannot have traditional balls to bite down on (the bite typically releases stress for these dogs, however it teaches them seek out that release when their energy is too big instead of controlling it - leading to dogs who bite dogs, people, or both.) Now we only use foraging games in the home. Snuffle matts, frozen lick pads, kongs, and hiding treats work well too, but this ball lasts so much longer with less food. It's big enough that he noses it around or picks it up and drops it, but does not try to play bite. The openings had me concerned at first. There was no way his kibble would have come out. But I found that cutting a couple of the flexible barriers did the trick. I cut two on one side and only one on the other side to keep the game lasting long enough. If I didn't he eventually lost interest. Great foraging toy! And safe for behavioral issues too. Thank you!

After working professionally with dogs for several years and recommending this ball to dozens of dog owners, I can safely say this is the most durable ball you're going to find. We have balls around our house that are 5+ years old, and one has a little nick in it--from a dog or the lawn mower? Not sure! Yes, they can be frustrating to fill if you are loading with a small kibble. A funnel helps, but you have to find one you can get into the hole and yet is big enough for the kibble to pour through. Then you will have food dribbling out the bottom while you're filling. Solve that by making a little paper towel stopper. If your small kibble comes out too fast to entertain your dog for long, just poke a couple of small dog biscuits in there with the food so that the dog will have a special goodie to challenge him when the kibble is gone. So you have to think it over a bit, but it is so worth it--because your dog has to think it over, too.You can get creative--push a couple of ice cubes in there in hot weather. If you're careful, you can put some broth or juice in it with a few dog treats and freeze it--obviously, it can only take a little water without running out! These are dishwasher safe, but I typically throw them in a bucket with a light bleach solution every now and then to keep them fresh.The ball is squooshy and bouncy, and it does float. But don't let its light weight fool you--it is TOUGH. We have two 60-pound dogs who love to fetch it, and they try to tug it away from each other. No damage to the toy. If your dog destroys tennis balls, use the smaller Fun Ball as your fetch ball.On the rare occasions that I board my dog, I pre-fill balls with his food, tuck a paper towel into each end, and put them in a zip top bag. Then I know the boarding facility will give him an appropriate amount of food, and he will have something to do. My dog likes to toss his ball around after it's empty. It bounces, and he can chase it.Have a litter of puppies? One of the most entertaining things I've ever done is put a couple of treat balls in the kennel with eleven 6-week old puppies. Those rascals loved the concept, and it was a great learning experience for them.This is just an all-around great toy, for feeding, for chewing, for fetching, for bouncing.

This ball is Perfect for my little dog who has excessive energy and needs something to keep him busy! I used to stuff raw bones with treats for him to work on but many of his teeth have since been pulled so we are not allowed to give him bones anymore. The bones didn’t CAUSE his problem but aren’t safe now that he is over 10. I put varied treats in this ball and it keeps him busy from 10 mins to an hour depending on how hard it is to get the treat out. The negative is that the do break open easy. Our younger dog gets a hold of them and they split easy (when the dog has all their teeth ;)) They are Easy to stuff. The Medium is the perfect size for dogs 20-55 lbs. Easy to stuff but again, unfortunately if a dog has all its teeth, it can rip them. So the value for money is not great BUT I haven’t found ANY other stuffable toy to keep my dog as busy so I have purchased 4 already!

I have a very high energy, aggressive chewer pup, and this keeps her busy until she can get the last treat out of the ball. Because of its rubber texture, rather than destroying it, she clenches the ball in her jaws. Hard toys she just tears apart. This is the second one I have bought because it can roll under furniture so I always have a backup when I can’t find one of them! When I am working from home and cannot give her the attention she wants in the moment I push about 10 little treats into it and it keeps her occupied for at least 30 minutes. And she usually take a nap after. It’s mentally stimulating trying to figure out how to get the treats and physical activity because it bounces around and she chases it. Excellent toy!

My dog loves this toy. I do wish it would last a little bit longer kind of falls apart after a while so make sure you keep an eye on your dog.

This is fabulous engagement for your pup! I cut the little end guards of one hole of this ball to make a bigger opening and use small SQUARE dried dog treats like liver or fish; it’s a bit of an art to get the right treats, shapes and size so they don’t all drop out instantly or don’t come out at all. Once you figure this out your pup will entertain herself quite a while. And NO NOISE. (You may have to find the ball later though. 😆)

Two years later, and this is still holding up. I got this when mine was a puppy and now he’s a super chewer. Not even a dent. We play with it every day.

Everlasting Fun Treat Ball / B0009YD8NSI have several treat dispensing toys for my puppy, and I like this one the least. The design is very poor, in my opinion, at least compared to other treat toys we've used.To begin with, it is difficult to "load" the toy with food and treats because there are two identical loading holes, one opposite the other. This means that when I pour treats in, they pour right out on the opposite side. It's like filling a bucket with no bottom, and it's very frustrating. Eventually, you have to just find the biggest treats you can, and jam them in, which is a pain and a half. Not to mention the edges of the hole catch and grab at your fingers - fun!That brings me to my next point - you cannot put small treats or puppy kibble in here as they will fall out immediately. Only big fat treats will provide the dog a challenge, but fortunately the makers of this product make such treats and are more than willing to sell them to you. Which is fine, I guess, and I went ahead and bought some, but I prefer to fill my treat toys with at least some regular kibble so that the puppy doesn't just gorge himself on a bunch of rich treats all at once. Since this ball won't allow me to do this, it's now an occasional toy, not a reliable daily toy.Bottom line: I feel that this toy is difficult to fill, and can only be used for "treat gorging" and not for regular dinner time. If your fingers are less delicate than mine and you just want a treat ball, you may like this - my dog certainly likes the chewy rubber and he hasn't destroyed it yet (although he's not much of a chewer). However, if you want an easy to fill ball that can hold kibble and enliven dinner time, I recommend the Omega Paw Tricky Treat Ball.~ Ana Mardoll

Sie sind sichtlich an den Bällen interessiert und spielen lange damit rum.Für mich ist wichtig, dass das Spielzeug zwecks Ausbildung attraktiv und begehrt ist.Zudem bin ich darin interessiert, dass die Hunde das Spielzeug nicht so schnell zerlegen können.Nicht nur aus Kostengründen, auch zur Sicherheit der Hunde, falls mal ein Ball liegenbleibt und länger angekaut wird.Die ältesten dieser Art leben seit über vier Jahren trotz täglicher Verwendung. Es zeigen sich deutliche Risse, die Struktur ist aber noch stabil.Ich habe Alternativen ausprobiert. Die gelben und weichen Starmark-Bälle halten nur kurzeitig. Für die Ballmaschine ok, zum Kauen nicht stabil genug. Ein Kong ist im Vergleich ebenso langlebig, aber für meine Hunde deutlich weniger attraktiv.Ich würde diese grünen weichen Starmark - Bälle jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Tengo un american bully y esta pelota es su favorita y la que más le dura. Lleva usándola años, la cambio cuando se estropea pero pueden pasar meses! Antes usaba otras de caucho duro, pero acababa rajándolas y sangrándole mucho las encías al morderlas. Esta le encanta porque es blandita pero muy duradera. Además bota genial para lanzarla
