Exacty as Expected.
Very pleased with this plaster. It works exactly as expected and the results are what I thought they would be. It's as good as any high end plasters I've worked with and I am happy to have this for my next projects! If you're familiar with working with plaster, you'll be pleased with it. And if you're not, this would be fine to start with.

no included directions
I recently purchased the 1 pound pink plaster of paris for crafts hand mold casting kit and I have to say I am extremely disappointed. Not only were there no directions included with the product, but I also found it extremely difficult to use. I had hoped to make hand molds with this plaster, but I couldn't figure out how to achieve that with the supplies provided. The lack of directions made it nearly impossible for me to use the product effectively, and as a result, I was left feeling frustrated and disappointed. I was hoping to use this plaster for a special occasion such as Mother's Day or Valentine's Day, but now I am unsure if I will even be able to make anything at all.Overall, I would not recommend this product to anyone looking to create crafts or hand molds. The lack of directions made it nearly impossible for me to use effectively, and as a result, I am left feeling disappointed in my purchase.

Product was really dirty on the outside, but worked as expected.
After unpacking, the product was a bit dirty on the outside, not from any spilled Plaster, more like dirty prints or machinery marks would be my guess. That aside, the plaster worked exactly as I hoped. I used to work as a dental assistant and worked with plaster on a daily basis. This worked exactly the same as dental grade plasters. When pouring Plaster, you need to make sure to start with a small amount and if you have a vibrating plate, it runs it like a river into the nooks and crannies and gets the bubbles out. If you are a DIY'er, you may be able to substitute something like a back massager on a blanket, under your mixing bowl, to make this product work to its full potential. It will allow the liquidity of the product that it does not have without vibration under it. Any bubbles, I was able to mix a small amount more of product after it set, and smooth it into those spaces. You can get professional results with those little tricks. I used it to make new dental molds from bleach trays. After it set (I let it set overnight) I was able to remove them easily and now I can make new retainers with the molds.I would recommend this product, the outside of it can be cleaned up if that doesn't bother you. The color is a personal preference. It didn't matter for my application.

Poor packaging, no instructions
The canister doesn't say what this product even is, let alone how to use it, and when I opened it, the seal wasn't even attached. Not sure if it was never attached or if it just stuck to the lid and came off when I opened it. There are no instructions, except in the listing, which says both that it's a 1:1 ratio and a 100:35 ratio of plaster and water. So, which is it? Not sure if I'll actually try using this or not, but either way, I'm not happy.

Easy to use, prefer the jar to the bagged stuff
I personally find jars easier to use than bags with resealable zipper closures. More often than not I do not close the bag right or the zipper sucks and it pops open and I wind up making a mess. I like that this powder comes in a jar.It is easy to mix- you use 100g of powder and 35g of water (or 200g powder to 70g of water) and stir it until it is smooth. It looks and feels like plaster when it is cured. I have no complaints. I'll be saving the jar and pouring my bags of plaster from other brands into it after it is emptied.

Spilled out
This jar was half full when I received it and spilling out everywhere.

Sets pretty fast and is easy to mix.
I used it in a silicone mold and it set up much better than the cement I tried originally in the same mold. It captured all the details of the mold and didn’t stick as I released it. I made the mix a bit on the wet side, that might be why the color wasn’t distributed evenly. The color is pretty.
