Ulanzi appear to generally make good stuff and this is no exception. All-metal construction, it works really well on a tripod or with a gimbal (I use it with my OSMO Mobile 3). It takes the RODE mic and with a bit of juggling you can also attach an LED light using another port on the 3-way hot shoe piece, which screws onto one end of the extension bracket, although TBH it would probably work better with 2 Ulanzi brackets so you can get the Rode mic (which is bulky with the dead-cat wind baffle on) further out of the way of the LED light, particularly if using one of the better LED lights, which are a bit bigger. Both thumb screws at each end of the Ulanzi bracket have a male and female 1/4" thread, so you can attach it "in-line" to the tripod and still have your camera/gimbal on top. It's a good bit of kit and not too heavy or bulky.

This manufacturer has cornered the marked for this type of photographic adaptor and accessory for me, they're well priced and well made. It just does the job properly, and reliably.

Does exactly what it is designed to do. Too early to comment on its sturdiness longer term but a quality product.

The media could not be loaded.  One of main criticisms of camera brackets is that you have to pay £10+ for a little plastic and some tripod threads. That is the only negative I have about the PT-3 as this is exactly what I was looking for.If you are looking for a way to attach an external microphone to your gimbal, or an LED light or something simialr, this is arguably the best solution on the market. It may also suit some small compact cameras too (such as the Sony RX100 range).The cold shoe mount lets you attach things to the top or sides. Works great in practice.Recommended.

Bought this for my DJI Pocket 2 so i could add a light source it's made from metal and doesn't have any fragile parts. Very durable.

This is the second mount that I’ve bought from Ulanzi and again it didn’t fail to impress by its build quality and sturdiness. I have used it in different setups, sometimes for lighting or to mount a second camera. A must-have tool in the camera bag!

Sehr robustes Aluminium Ausführung. Durch den Standardanschluss 1/4 Zoll kann man es überall befestigen.Die 3 Cold Shoe's nehmen alles auf wie z.B. 1 oder 2 Mikros, Videoleuchten...Dadurch das in den beiden Schrauben auch nochmal 1/4 Zoll Anschlüsse sind passt es auch auf z.B. Stative.Damit sind der Anschlussvielfalt keine Grenzen gesetzt!Sehr schönes Teil!

Buen material de construcción ya que es en metal y cumple su función. Me ha faltado la opción de poder cambiar el ángulo del soporte ya que lo suelo usar en un gimbal el cual no siempre lo tengo perfectamente recto sino que la mayoría del tiempo lo inclino hacia adelante y La Luz mira al suelo
