Cost effective and US-available option for your Disco 2
Installed about a week ago. My thoughts: - Arrived in one-piece. - Recommend purchasing 1/4" Exterior Attachment Tape to replace the rubber trim adhesive that ships with the cowling - Wiper 'plugs' need to be re-used. Mine were sun-bleached, but fine - Plan to re-use your foamy air filter, if available. The provide filter and clips aren't at OEM or even BritPart level - but do get the job done. - Plan to grease / service the wiper linkages while you're in there - Fit was acceptable. I worked on a sunny day - allowing the trim to heat in the sun. I'll be interested to see if this holds up through a cold, northern, winter - but my day one experience was very good. For the price, these seem to be a decent value. Get one while they're available - it seems like these come and go from the marketplace and the OEM plastic on my truck is uniformly approaching its half-life.

Great!
Darn near perfect! The old one had the big crack in half and looked bad. This made it look new again. I did remove the hood to get better clearance, but thats easy. Much less expensive than the Rover parts places.

Perfect product.
FINALLY A WINDSHIELD COWL THAT ISINT $300+. Been searching for years as mine was cracked bad. This fits amazing. All the mounting holes for the wipers, push clips & center bolt line up, tabs slide under windshield to secure it. Fits like a glove. Happy I took the chance on it. I did it with the hood on but one of my a-pillar cover is missing, so it slid right under the drivers side one, otherwise you might have to remove at least one.
