Smooth and light.
I've found quite a few reviews for this to be misleading after I tried it for myself.First off, it's not super high in alcohol. At 40% it's on the higher end of average for a whiskey. The taste is that of a very smooth not too sweet burbon, it's very light in colour and it malt flavour. has almost no bite to it so it's very easy drinking and super smooth! The after taste comes in very mild and builds the more you drink, a sweet creamed corn taste that lingers a little on the tounge yet it doesn't distract or clash with the initial burbon flavour. The whistler Jug this whiskey comes in is fantastic and really completes the experience! it is a classic glazed pottery jug, with real stamped labelling on the front, the only stickers are legal and retail purpose information on the back.Overall a very surprising whiskey, wonderfully smooth burbon and light in flavour although some may not favour the corn aftertaste. Has become one of my top 3 favourite whiskeys!Ignore the bad press, give it a try!

Very smooth whisky
I like the flavour and its smoothness, doesn't burn my throat when I drank it, price is comparable to any Scottish whisky. Love the container which is a small demijohn.

Thanks
First time finding a corn whiskey with a ceramic bottle. Really smooth as it should be, not much of a finish or such, but still a nice, pleasant dram. A tad expensive but still an okay with me, considering. I could consider this as an occasional dram. Thanks Hard to Find!

nice ceramic jar of mc cormicks corn whiskey.
So nice to get a different type of whiskey, I got to use to having you're run of the mill bourbon or scotch and this presents a nice alternative.Whiskeys flavour itself is completely different to other whiskeys making it hard to describe, but in essence I'd say it's great! Whether you want it for a decoration, a personal bar or just to bring something new to table. I'd say worth the purchase.Plus thing packs a punch!

Very tasty light bourbon flavour
Loved this whiskey. Very easy to drink and has similar taste and smoothness like a bourbon. Would definitely have this again plus the bottle looks great on display and can't even tell I've drank it all. 🥃🥃

Nice bottle but whiskey leaves you unfulfilled
I’ll start off by saying I’m a long-standing bourbon drinker. I have tried a few other corn whiskeys which are more drinkable that this. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not awful, but for the price and the look of the bottle, I just expected more.

A drink of the Gods
Ahhh yes I'm ready to get on my tractor and run over my grandma while i shoot my rifle at the nearest stop sign. Truly a clean and smooth moonshine with the kick of an untamable stallion (with your own whistle jug to boot). Couldn't have asked for more really, don't regret this purchase one bit, can't say the same for my d&d group though. Again this thing is an easy drink so before you know it you'll be singing abba with your pants on your head after a few shots. 10/10 good drink but 0/10 if you're looking for a casual sip while you are DMing a game of d&d, you will become the wizard on the bottle.
