This thing Is awesome. Very durable but with durable you get heavy. The grip fits the hand nicely. As far as brightness it’s everything you hope 5000 lumens would be. I laugh every time I use it simply because of its extreme brightness. Very simple to recharge and it’s nice you can charge both batteries at once. As far as Functionality it’s stream lights click technology and is very easy to use.

so happy with it. great build quality. stays cool on the handle, but the head heats up FAST! but it's a perfect light for what it's designed for. bought it for caving. There's just some really dark caves, where you really need to be able to light up the darkness and throw some light!

I have about nine Streamlights, small handhelds, gun lights, head lamps, and the large high lumen handhelds. I find they are of great quality and all I own all continue to work. I have most always bought the highest lumen handheld available which was the Protac Hl 5-X at 3500 lumens. For 15 of my 25 year career in my police dept. I worked nights (most action) and since retiring still mostly am up nightly so I use flashlights regularly. When I saw the Protac HL 6 I immediately bought it. I am amazed at how bright it is and how far the light throws. It’s daylight at 140 yards. It’s just a little bigger, longer and heavier than the 5 X but not by much. I wish I had this when I was on the job. Second to the quality of the light is the price. I paid $115 delivered which is less than my latest 5 X.If you are looking for a flashlight now is the time to get this one. Almost forgot it has three levels of light so you won’t blind anybody. I am thrilled with this product. My sister lives in the country. I gave her a 5X but will upgrade her to the 6 for Christmas.

This thing is super bright , lights up everything in its path up to about 150 yards. Sturdy aluminum housing, rechargeable batteries. Light enough to carry around and not be bothersome

Stream light has done it again, excellent flashlight. I use it mostly for safety and security.

This light is extremely bright, but it gets HOT (expected). Streamlight is known for their quality and warranty process and I would recommend their brand over any of the "cheaper" lights out there. I own probably 20+ Streamlight products and will continue to buy more.

Great light but returning. 40+ yrs Force Recon+LEO, this is the real deal BUT if you already have the 5, skip this and wait for 7 . . .or maybe 8 for a serious bump.
