Needs to be more sturdy
Because it is made out of plastic, holding onto a 12.9 inch tablet is not stable. Wobbles alot if you are not driving on very smooth payment. Any slight bump in the road will cause your tablet to wobble like those little wobble figurines you put on the dashboard. lol. I am always an advocate for metal structure builds and would pay the extra money for it as they are very sturdy and not wobble.

Perfect size
The size is perfect. It can hold a large cup very well. The phone holder is also very stable. It can be rotated to any angle.

Didn’t work well for me.
I have tried multiple phone holders and just can’t find one that hits the magic spot in my 2019 Subaru Outback. I have tried holders that mount on the rear view mirror, clip onto either visor, clamps on the dash, isninserted into the air vent, he’d in the CD player and now this. I just can’t find one that hits the sweet spot for me. They’re too close to my face or too far away to read or obstruct something important.I tried this one in both cup holders in the front of the center console and just couldn’t get it right. The base is a twist to fit adjustable that is easy too operate and it sits securely in my cup holders. This has to be carefully adjusted because it sets the area where the middle, cup holder portion can move. The middle of this contraption is large holder for a cup that will fit just about anything you throw at it, the bigger the better. It has some rubber fins to keep cups still. This was a point of weakness as my 40 oz. felt loose in there and I was imagining all sorts of spills accompanied by curses. Then there are two piece arm-like pieces to get height for the phone holder part. These are limited in the type of adjustments you can make. I even took the top arm off and turned it around but I still couldn’t get a great viewing angle. The one time I got everything screwed together and in a mostly perfect viewing position it blocked my shifter. Arg! After an hour I gave up. These issues were small individually but added together they just made this FUBAR for me.I can’t recommend. If you’re interested in this short girl’s top choice so far it’s the one sits in the CD player.

Will not accommodate the thickness of tablet in protective case.
Well-constructed, strong equipment. My problem is that the clasp is too short to accommodate the increased thickness of my tablet in a protective case.

works as designed
This was exactly what i was looking for. Hold the Ipad and a large water bottle

Holds tablet well but very unstable
I use this to hold an 11 inch tablet. It is very unstable and shakes around a lot. The cup holder is also pretty useless because the table sits to low and your cup is right in the way of the screen. Overall it could be taller, but then it would be more unstable.

Feels like there a lot of setup...
The media could not be loaded. Could the extra steps be worth it? I don't know, but it's in, and holding. It's definitely one you don't get if you need to take it in and out... at all. And if you plan on leaving it in, it's great. Quality is pretty standard, and the arm allows it to place your phone pretty much anywhere on in the center console, so it has some versatility. It's not bad, and does as it advertises.

Pretty strong!
Most cup holders are flimsy. This is strong and stable. Plus I can use the cup part still while keeping my phone or tablet closer. For work and travel, this is a winner. Assembly was a tad weird but it went together eventually.
