This is definitely a good book much more worth than its price. I wrote IELTS for the first time to get an overall band score of 7. I scored bad in writing. I used this book to improve my writing skills and in the next IELTS exam I was able to upgrade to a band score of 8 with a jump in writing from 6 to 7.5. This saved me time and money in going for coaching. However you should keep in mind the fact that this book is for a person who is reasonably good in English but needs to know the format of the writing exam. This would not be of much help for a beginner in English.
