I don't normally like writing reviews until I have had the item awhile but OMG!! I just received my bag and I LOVE IT!!! The leather smell hits you as soon as you open the box. The look is professional and it has ample space and enough compartments for all my teacher needs. I will say the inside of the bag DOES NOT look like the picture (I bought the brown one). The inside is a paisley print which I personally like better than the beige in the picture. The bag isn't that heavy weighing a little more than 6 lbs. When I start adding my things its starts to get heavy BUT THERE ARE WHEELS!! It rolls very smoothly on both tile and carpet. The telescoping handle is great especially if you are tall. And I love how it disappears in its own zippered compartment. Right out the box, I love this roller bag.

Rarely do I review a product, but this Laptop bag is perfect. My heavy laptop is 14 1/2 x 9 1/2 inches and it fits perfectly in this bag with room to spare. My thick full size leather binder, Laptop charger, and external cd drive also fit just fine along with the Laptop. I travel quite often all over the world for work and became very tired of carrying a heavy backpack. This bag is so nice and creates a professional look - In the few weeks I have had the bag, I have been stopped 3 times by colleagues asking where I found this and they took pictures. I saw the reviews warning about the wheels and was concerned, however I took the chance and have had no issues. I have run through airports, pulled this through many parking lots over rough pavement, all over many buildings, down sidewalks, over curbs etc. The wheels are no louder than standard luggage - although the wheels are one direction not multi-directional as on some luggage. It fits great in the overhead compartment or even under the seat in front of you on most aircraft. Leather is nicely finished and 'weather resistant'. I really love it, and will buy another if it ever ends up breaking. It is exactly what I was looking for to carry work information with a professional look.

I waited some time to write this review, so that I can give the bag a fair assessment. I use this bag daily for work. It is one of my best purchases. It not only fits my computer and charger but also all my paperwork and everything that I would normally carry in my pocket book with still some room left. It also has a very vintage look which I like. My only regret was not getting the blue one also. A bit expensive in price but worth the buy.

The minute I saw this bag, I knew it was for me. The design, style (especially the style) and functionality were exactly what I needed. When I opened the box and unpackaged the bag, I knew the leather was not inexpensive. The smell that wafted out as I removed the packaging was so strong that it gave me a mild headache. I have a sensitivity to the scent of leather. However, had I kept the bag, I would have endured the sensory overload as I knew it would dissipate. I ordered the red and it was absolutely gorgeous. As others have mentioned, the leather is stiff, but nothing that makes the bag cumbersome. It felt sturdy, rolled easily and I especially loved that the travel handle is retractable and is hidden when not in use. I was beaming from ear to ear because I finally found a computer bag that was both stylish and functional. So why did I return it? This reason should not deter anyone from purchasing, but for me, it was a dealbreaker: The inside lining. It was not that bright blue that you see in the pictures, but a paisley print that just bothered me. Granted, how often would I be staring inside the bag? Not often, but it was enough for me to return it. It was just too much, even if it would be hidden. I cannot explain it; the pattern just bothered me, so I re-packaged and sent it back. Another reviewer mentioned that the customer service was terrible, and it took them some time to get their refund. I was fortunate. I returned it on a Monday and had my refund a few days later. It was effortless. If the interior color is not an issue, I would recommend buying. It truly is a beautiful bag. Also, if anyone purchases this bag after this review and they receive one that has that solid, bright blue lining, please let me know so I can re-purchase :-).

I have taken this on several business trips now, some by plane and some by car. I received compliments from both women and men. It easily fits under a window seat on a Delta commuter (48 seat) plane by laying flat (I don't overfill it though) although it doesn't slide very well on the carpeting (a mixed blessing) when trying to quickly get situated. I prefer stairs to elevator and the pull handle goes up and down quickly and easily to switch between carry and roll. The handle also stands higher than my other wheeled bag for clothes which is great for taller folks. The elastic to hold it on top a larger wheeled bag is easy to get on the other bag, but it takes both hands to get it back off as it wants to catch on the handle of my bottom bag (another mixed blessing). While it is noticeably heavier with the wheels and pull handle, that is a price I am willing to pay for a good-looking carry-on that rolls and fits my laptop, iPad, and more! Occasionally when wheeling, it will catch on some wet leaves, pebbles, or whatnot. I simply push it the opposite direction until loose and go around it. If there is no good way around, that's why it has carry handles! :-) I took a star off versatility and easy to use because some of the pockets are too small/tight to fit much of anything, and the locking key of one pocket was too hard to use in the lock, even after I practiced for several minutes. The only thing I did miss was an over-the-shoulder option when I couldn't roll it and wanted both hands free.

I have been looking for something beautiful, high quality, and easy to transport for my teacher bag. I have used a backpack forever and I feel like I look like a student. I LOVE THIS! I'll also use it as a travel bag for short trips. The wheels roll easily, it's stylish, and easy to collapse the handle.

Bag stand rivet has come off and I'm using it only for a week

This is a gorgeous bag. Beautiful color, durable, light weight if you have to carry it because of snow and ice. There are several pockets inside, very roomy. I carry all my cords, my note books, my laptop, my small note books. It holds alot for the nice neat size that it is. Love this, was an awesome purchase.
