Great cordless phone with large readout for older eyes
I have always liked Vtech phones and now that I getting older this one with large display text on the screen makes life a bit easier because I can read the Caller ID and directory easily and ot struggle just to make sure I'm dialing the correct number and keeping track of who is calling me. The price point was very good for a phone with so many features and such easy setup and use, volume adjustments are simple and have a wide range so ringer volume and message playback don't have to blast your ears each time.

Nice Phone but Sound, Not So Much
Simple to set up for the most part but I do have to say - the sound isn't as loud as you would think. Both the phone itself and the ringing. Even at max volume, it feels like it isn't as loud. However, for the price and design, it's good. The screen is easy to read compared to Vtech's old home phones. The battery life is long-lasting.

Buyer beware
This phone has a stuck message "New Voicemail" displayed that won't go away and the manufacturer's help line is of NO help. They also want you to jump though hoops by providing them with a picture of the model/serial number of the unit and order and their troubleshooting menu does not list this particular problem. After doing some research I tried removing the batteries and unplugging the base for 30 minutes but the false message remains. Also, the Amazon return window has closed. I CAN make and receive calls, so I guess I'll just have to get used to this aggravating problem. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. Also, BUYER BEWARE! I would not recommend any company that doesn't follow through after the sale is made.

Connecting cable kept popping out
Main unit's connecting cable wouldn't stay in. It just kept popping out. We had to use the old Vtech connecting cable. Otherwise, product is good.
