Can one avec use this thread in a regular sewing machine?

I attempted to use some on my industrial straight stitch/topstitch machine, and found that it wound too tightly and unevenly on the bobbin, so it seized up and was too problematic to work with. I actually needed to cut it off of the bobbin, because it had jammed up too tightly. :-(

How many spools of this should I use when making leotards? I've heard just the lower looper, just the upper loopers, and all of them. Any advice?

does your pattern call for the use of wooly nylon? Usually that is only used when the seems can be seen, like trimming a table cloth. You can use regular serger thread in upper, lower and needle otherwise (look inside purchased tights or leotards to see what the manufacturers use). If you stitch a sample with wooly in just the upper, then just the lower, you can see how it looks decoratively and decide which you want to use. There is not a ton of thread on the spool, so if you were to used it in both loopers, I would buy extra.

Woolly Nylon Thread

The service and delivery time was excellent. I bought the thread for a friend as she heard it is good to use with yarn while knitting sock heels as it gives strength and helps to prolong the life of socks.

Very useful for lacy tight repairs

I bought this because I had fancy lace tights that ripped. You need a needle threader to get this into the hole as the woolly nylon relaxes into fuzzy fibers when lax. It works pretty great, I had to carefully copy the design of my tights as I sewed to mock the pattern back as best as I could. As you can see the results are great. Please note the black is a dark charcoal, it looks fairly black but compares to my tights it's a shade lighter. Not very noticeable, but good to know. Very happy with this purchase since I have a lot of these fancy black tights that I don't want to throw out if they get damaged. I repaired the crotch area too, and now I think I can get a few years more out of these ❤️
