WATSONS BUDDY - Telephone/Hall Table with Shoe Storage Bench - Oak

This item arrived flat pack and to be honest I have never seen so many bits and pieces! All wooden pieces had letter stickers on them and all screws, nuts and bolts were in their own little plastic bags. The instructions were easy to follow but you do need space to lay the bits out and for assembling the item. Once together it is a strong well made (not because we done it) and sturdy piece of furniture. You have a deep storage draw and shelf area and a drop front shoe storage - my husbands size 10 shoes do not fit very well but no problems for my size 7 shoes and trainers. Well packed when it arrived and well worth the money. Looks lovely in our hallway. Thank you

Bought this for an elderly family member whose previous cabinet was over bearing in size. Was very easy to assemble the product, with the odd pieces without labelling, but wasn't difficult to identify panels from the instructions provided. The only thing that I wasn't entirely sold on was the fact the drawer didn't have rails to slide on, that feature would certainly deserve 5* in my opinion, again diy market has that many solution to this, I would personally recommend considering adding such feature. Seller was great in responding to some queries about colour schemes. Family member is very happy with it, as it saved a considerable amount of space in the hallway. Putting aside the limitation on colour scheme, this product is very good.

great for some extra shoe room in our porch and with a seat to teach our children that shoes go on and off in the porch on the special seat! - easy to build - have knocked a star off as the seat that came with this is quite cheap and a yellowy colour as apposed to cream - so may have to replace that. Colour was slightly darker than picture i would have expected beech (in all honesty i didn't check what the colour description was i only went by picture) so for those that do the same its not beech.this is perfect for kids shoes and shoes no bigger than a 5. Although you can remove the shoe separator which will allow you to fit larger shoes in there but not as many.

This was pretty easy to assemble except that it had two screws missing from the pack; I called the customer services number and they despatched them immediately and we had them the next day, so that was excellent service. The effect and overall look of the unit is good and goes perfectly with our other furniture and decor; just what we needed. Provides good space and makes us more organised with telephone book, torch, pens etc and then underneath, nice and tidy space for several pairs of shoes. On the side is a very handy place to hang at least four sets of keys and we use this all the time. I recommend this product.

In one of the two I bought, some alignment issues, in a couple of pre-drilled holes, turned the front door assembly into a difficult re-engineering exercise. Chipboard could be a little bit thicker. Price was interesting and the final look of 2 of them, side by side, is what I was looking for.

The bench is pretty but the shoe door fell apart after 20 months of very light use. The screws that hold the large door to the hinges fell out of their holes resulting in the door falling out. This cannot be repaired. The screws used are not strong enough to hold the weight of the shoes (I stored 5 pairs of lady's shoes inside) and so they just fell out and tore apart the screw holes, so that they cannot be put back in.

Ordered the Buddy telephone/hall table with shoe storage a few weeks ago and despite its weight the postage asked was very reasonable. Arrived before due date and parcel well packed.Although flat packed items usually need a bit of experience to put together, the instructions for this item were very explicit and went through each stage very clearly with very good instructions and pictures. Resulting table/bench is exactly like the picture and excellent quality. It was also some £30 to £50 cheaper than other identical items. Cannot fault it.

Unit is perfrect for our hallway and looks like it will store the shoes we want to put there with a seat to sit on to put them on - bonus. Delivery was prompt as well. There was a slight scratch mark on the top of the unit - hence the not quite perfect score - but not enough to return it.

E' arrivato danneggiato con il sacchetto delle viti aperto. Fortunatamente c'erano tutte. Purtoppo non ho potuto restituirlo in quanto Batolini (con molta sua esperienza e poca mia) prima mi ha fatto firmare il ritiro e poi mi ha mandato nel retro magazzino a ritirare il pacco con la macchina. Cosi ho dovuto portarmelo a casa....A distaza di diversi anni è da buttare

Arrivata prima del previsto. Il montaggio è facilitato dalle istruzioni molto ben dettagliate. Cercavo una scapiera da posizionale sotto la scala del soppalco e questo è perfetto! E' in truciolato rivestito e ci stanno 8-10 paia di scarpe. Soddisfatta dell'acquisto.
