Very effective to tame a bassy room
Firstly, the GIK tri-trap bass is huge! Roughly four feet tall by two feet across the front face. It is well-made and does have a quality feel.I placed it in a corner of the room to the rear left of my listening position. The bass in my room was quite boomy and uncontrolled so I have been looking at getting a bass trap for some time.The improvement was immediate with the sound much more even across the frequency spectrum. It seemed like the bass had been sucked out of the room, as a first impression. As I listened more, I realised that I was just hearing a more realistic output from my hi-fi.The sound is much improved. I recommend the GIK bass trap as I imagine that it will be a cut above the basic, solid foam ones that I had been looking at for a third of the price.Unfortunately, mine had a few bits of damage when I took it out of the box. A few gouge marks on the top plate, the material cover worn through on one corner, and the top plate just doesn't look quite right.I'm sorting this out with Amazon and they are being great, as usual.

Very poor packaging and cosmetic quality
Ordered 2 x gik corner bass traps despite seeing reviews reporting poor packaging and cosmetic damage. Unfortunately both of them arrived with numerous dents and marks and were packaged purely in plastic wrapping which is clearly not sufficient to protect them.Not been able to check their function yet however they are way lighter than I would have expected.Not over the moon with my purchase. Hopefully they’ll do the job. Reluctant to return bc as I’m not convinced I’d get new ones in any better condition.

great product but not packaged very well
ordered 7 with prime, and they took between 2-4 weeks to arrive, over 4 separate deliveries4 of the traps were slightly damaged on the top plastic covering.packaging has effort but it isn't enough to protect the corners.apart from that, they're a good product..

Gik tri bass trap a must if having bass problems.
Super for bass control in room it does work very well.
