The case matches the white rog ally very well, hence why I bought this case. Looks really good and has enough space for rog ally to be placed inside gently. It's made out of good quality so it will protect the console. Very convenient portable for for trips or travelling too. Would recommend!

Just got the Syntech Hard Carrying Case for my Rog Ally, and first impression is very good. I’ll get to the bottom-line up front for those who don’t like to read wordy reviews. Pros: Solid, hard case. A must for travel Room for the essential accessories It’s also a stand for table top/TV-connected play White with black trim matches the Rog Ally aesthetic Reasonably priced Cons: That white and black aesthetic is going to be a dirt and scuff magnet if you aren’t careful Suggestions for the manufacturer: Could redesign with a removable tray to open up more accessory space, for HDMI cables or the like. And for those who enjoy reading reviews, here are my full thoughts on the carrying case. I got the Rog Ally for traveling, and needed a better option that just stuffing the machine in my carry-on luggage and hoping for the best. Looking at the Asus Rog Ally website, their official travel case looks like an over-sized soft pencil case my kids would use for school, and while I’m sure it’s well made, didn’t seem like the best bet for keeping my Ally un-crunched inside a backpack crammed under an airline seat, or soft duffle being banged around and abused in an overhead bin. Plus, the $39.99 (USD) was a little steep for something I’m sure my wife could easily make on her sewing machine. This Syntech Hard Carry Case looked like a better option for my needs, and (when I bought it) Amazon had it listed at $25.99, with a discount and coupon, that came down to $19.66, and sales tax brought it back up to $21.04, almost half the price of Asus’s own travel case. I’m confident this case will hold up to the rigors of air travel, a family road trip, or weekend camping excursion. Once I’ve had a chance to put it through the paces on some of those, I’ll come back to update this if needed. When traveling, it’s also good to have the essentials close at hand, which this case has covered. There’s a mesh pocket for any extra memory cards you need to bring along. And if you’re looking to travel light, you could also keep some credit cards, driver’s license, or cash in there. At the bottom of the case is a cavity that will hold the charging cable that came with the Ally, or the Rog Gaming Charger Dock with USB C cable. The remaining space is perfect for my Sony wireless earbuds, and probably any other wireless earphones with similar case size. If you have the charger dock, you may be able to fit an HDMI cable in there, but the ones I have are too long and not flexible enough to coil to fit. For the Syntech carrying case engineers, it may be possible to make the tray removable, which would open up the cavity between the tray and shell to allow for HDMI cable stowage. Any other accessories will have to be packed separately, such as keyboard, mouse, or game controllers, but while actually traveling, the charger is right there in the case, so when that low battery warning pops up, you’re ready, as long as there is a power outlet available. The case is also designed to work as a stand for the Ally. That’s great for setting it down on a table at a hotel or campsite to play, or connecting to a TV with the right accessories. Having the case also act as a stand saves you from trying to bring along that cheesy compressed cardboard stand that came with the Ally, which probably wouldn’t last five minutes inside a piece of luggage. The Syntech case has a very nice look to it too. The white outer material with black trim is a great match to the Rog Ally design. When someone sees you open up the Syntech case, and pull out your Rog Ally, there’s no doubt that the case and machine are meant to be together. That white material also has a nice feeling texture. While it looks nice, and goes great with the Ally, the white outer material is also going to show dirt and scuffs if you aren’t careful to keep it clean. That’s the only downside I’ve seen so far, and for me, isn’t a big deal. I know there are more fastidious people who might be concerned about it, but someone very concerned with appearance is also likely to take more care to keep the case clean and unblemished. Just to see, I also put my Nintendo Switch in the case, and while it’s clearly not meant for a Switch, it does fit. I don’t have a Steam Deck, so I can’t say if that will fit or not, but I’ll take some pictures with a tape measure for anyone who wants to double check the dimensions. All in all, I think this case was a good choice, and as I said, after I’ve had a chance to actually travel with this some, if I notice anything else positive or negative to add, I’ll update my review.

Excellent case. Good storage for the charger too. Everything is neat and the protection feels robust as it’s a hard case.

Great case looks great just be careful not to have dirty fingers seeing as to how it's a white case.
