A carpet tape that does the job
I was having trouble finding a carpet tape that would secure a small rug (well, a doormat) to carpet. I live in an apartment building with carpeted hallways between the units, so if anyone wants to keep their doormats from slipping and sliding it's necessary to tape them down. Most of the tapes I've tried seem to be meant more for attaching rugs to bare floors and just didn't have enough staying power. This one does. The only other thing I'll mention is that the roll of tape I received was just a roll of tape with no branding on it. Not a big deal since the product worked satisfactorily, but it didn't look exactly like the product picture shown here.

Strong hold
This is proven to be an exceptional product that exceeded my expectations in both functionality and appearance. First and foremost, this duct tape is incredibly durable. It has withstood various tasks and challenges with ease, whether it's repairing outdoor equipment or securing heavy items. The adhesive is strong and reliable, providing a firm grip that lasts. I am confident that any repair or fix using this tape will hold up well over time. The vibrant orange color is a standout feature of this tape. It not only adds a fun and lively touch to my projects but also makes it highly visible, which comes in handy for labeling or marking items. This feature has been particularly useful in my workshop, allowing me to easily identify different tools and equipment. The 20-yard length is generous and offers great value for money. This roll seems to last forever, making it a cost-effective choice for various tasks and projects around the house.Additionally, the tear-resistant feature of this tape is a game-changer. It tears cleanly and smoothly, without leaving any messy edges or wasting excess material. This makes using the tape hassle-free and efficient. This duct tape is weather-resistant, ensuring that it remains strong and intact even in harsh outdoor conditions. It has proven its resilience against rain, sunlight, and temperature fluctuations. Top-quality product that deserves all the praise. Its durability, eye-catching color, and tear-resistant properties make it a versatile and practical choice for any DIY enthusiast or professional. Whether for home repairs, crafting projects, or labeling items, this duct tape performs exceptionally well. I highly recommend the 3M 3920-OR Duct Tape in orange and am thoroughly satisfied with my purchase. Definitely recommend 100%

Great for low traffic area
I used this tape in two different areas. The runner that goes along my patio French doors and the 5x7 area rug in my front entrance. It has held up great on the runner at the back door for 3 weeks. It stays in place even after opening a door with a rubber sweep that normally pushes my carpet around. 5 stars for this specific area and rug. Note: This runner does have more of a grip/rubber backing. The rug at my front door is larger and your standard rug backing (no rubber). This area is high traffic and a landing spot for my kids running down the stairs or to the front door. I only put tape in the corners and it stayed put for 24 hours. If I didn’t have tornado children, I think it would stick longer. 2 stars for this rug and area. I might try longer strips next time. With that said, I was nervous to remove the tape from my wood floors, but it came right off without leaving any residue and without messing up my floors. Overall, I think this would most likely work well for specific areas and maybe the backing of the rug also plays a part in how well it’ll stick.

works well, use generously
Great tape. Holds fast without adding a lumpy bulk under the rug.The lateral forces on a rug are much higher than you might expect. Don't just put a bit of tape on the corners and expect it to hold for a long time. You DO want tape as close to the edge & corners as possible to prevent curling, especially at the high-traffic edges where people might drag their feet and create a tripping hazard. Beyond that, you'll have to put some along all edges and even down the center, depending on the size of the rug. Use it generously - the tape is pretty cheap and saves a lot of hassle with proper use.One other tip - For a new rug, lay it out and let it acclimate for a day or two before you tape it down. I have a 7x10 rug that I taped down too soon. The edges are firmly in place, but there's some slack & ripples in the middle.Review for: SWRT 2 Inch / 12 Yards Carpet Tape Double Sided, Rug Tape Gripper for Carpet, UV Glue More Stronger Adhesive No Residue Heavy Duty Carpet Tape for Area Rugs, Hardwood Floors, Tiles, Marble and MoreASIN: B0D78P2HV9

Solid carpet tape for keeping rugs down versus kids and pets.
This carpet tape has been a lifesaver for keeping my rugs in place! Before using it, my kids were constantly tripping over the rugs or wrinkling them up, which was such a hassle. I applied the tape generously to secure the rugs to the floor, and I’m happy to say I haven't had any issues since. The tape holds strong, keeping everything flat and safe, and I can finally relax without worrying about rug mishaps. I highly recommend this carpet tape, it really does the trick!

Holds Strong
Our house gets a lot of wind because of where we are located, and especially at night. Often times in the morning our front porch rug is folded over or even moved completely. I wanted to try this tape even though it doesn't advertise being used on concrete, and I'm glad I did, because it has worked perfectly so far! It's holding the rug down perfectly. We haven't had any issues with it blowing around or even moving at all. I haven't had to remove it yet, so I can't speak to if it will leave residue or not on concrete, but I'll update my review if it's a bad removal process.
