Crunchy, spicy, delicious snacks!

The product is mostly as I remember them, maybe a little spicier (heat, not flavor profile). The times I’ve had them from local markets, they had that distinctive cumin flavor without the heat. These have heat. Not strong, but to those who aren’t used to it or don’t like spicy, be aware that it has chili powder. Not much different than having a little too much black pepper on a meal. Delivery was the only real problem I had. Whether they were sent this way or UPS ground did it, they arrived with most pieces looking like granola clusters or smaller. Very few whole Chakali’s out of 3 bags. It all ends up in the same place, so I personally don’t care, but others might, so be aware.

We have enjoyed these in the past but was very disappointed in my recent order as all the bags we received were very stale. We realized why when we checked the expiration date and saw that they expired 3 months ago!

Arrived fresh, not crushed just as good as store bought (and definitely better than my clumsy attempts at making them).

Used to be a very good product. Were the best chaklis. Were they a product of India? Now, a product of USA. Something changed in the recent years. Now, the chaklis turn rancid within a few days of opening the packet. Are they using coconut oil? Turns rancid.

The price for this is hiked up. It shld not be mote than $3:49 per pkt.
