Tighter-than-preferred fit, but not at all a bad fit. Very heavy duty and high-quality feel to it. I feel very comfortable stuffing the OP-1 or XY into a backpack while in this bag. Also has a relatively-tight front pouch that’s perfect for some very light cables like a 1/8" or USB-C.

I love the overall gear for Teenage Engineering. I do love the aesthetic and minimalist design. Often touted as a bit of hipster appeal company, I agree it's cool and slick. My only issue here is that if you have an expensive piece like the OP-1 or OP-XY (which is what I own), it doesn't feel protective in a "hard case" sense. It's more of a sleeve with a velcro flap versus a hard case with cushioning, in the event that you were to ever drop this. Granted most folks will be tabletopping this, the luxury of these aforementioned devices is that you can take them on the go and use them anywhere. That's the great take away and this particular sleeve is for that, whether you store your gear in it and take in a backpack or use TE's additional strap to adhere and bring out into the field. The possibilities are plenty.

pair it with a decksaver and it is nice and safe. otherwise the knobs and keys will keep pressing. i was afraid of damaging the unit.

Love the case. It's not a hard case, so don't expect major drop protection, but it keeps my OP-1 scuff free and makes me feel more confident bringing it places with me for on-the-go music making

Absolutely gorgeous sleeve for the op1. Not for falls or drops though I’d imagine.
