Great product easy to use.

The quality is good, and I received everything in good condition, but please if you include a small water pump, at least in words will be great because it's not optional.....the hot plate take time to boil the water

The supplied heat plate doesn't get hot enough to get vapor to the top of the second vapor bowl.

Great quality glass. I’m really impressed for the price. You can’t really beat it. This is a great set up. I’m about to try our first distillation of vanilla as we speak. After the attempt I’ve found that the heating plate is not compatible with the setup. The base is too large and therefore not distributing the heat well enough to actually boil the water. But really, if you’re serious about any of it, get yourself a proper heater, one the you put the flask inside and it heats all sides and the bottom, they come with magnetic stirring options as well. At least the glassware is top of the line :-)

I received my kit yesterday afternoon. I set it up, which wasn't as difficult as I had previously thought. My only suggestion would be that you put the hot plate on a fire/heat safe platform and adjust all the flask holders and what have you according to that height. Setting it up on a flat surface doesn't allow for a proper distance between the beaker for catching hydrosol and the catcher itself. I started some plant material with about 1150mL of water in the flask, at 430/5 PM and took everything down at around 1 AM, and the water never reached boiling point, even at the highest setting. The thermometer is in Celsius, so I had them converted to Fahrenheit and only made it to 90 degrees Celsius. The hot plate wouldn't stay on for longer than 10 seconds. it would click on then, right after turn-off, and did that for 6 hours. Ultimately, don't bother with the hot plate; the flask has a sort of rounded bottom, that isn't fully flat and I think that also may have been a part of the issue. Buy a better one or use your stove somehow, it will get a better distribution of heat that way, otherwise, you may end up wasting HOURS of your life waiting for it to boil water. I wouldn't recommend this hot plate as a cheap alternative to other cheap hotplates; spend a few more dollars on the better ones. All in all, besides the hot plate being janky, it's not a bad setup for the price range.

Horrible! The burner quit after 2 days and tht collection tube's stopcock has NEVER opened, and I have to put a flask under the overflow tube so that it doesn't overflow. I had to puchase a different burner!! A piece of garbage for the price they charge for it. I expected better from Vervor

Heat pad was not strong enough had to buy another one.
