Good book with a range of songs ideal for beginner drummers! Get some earplugs if you are nearby during practise!

Brilliant book, has helped my son at his grading

This is a great book but is quite a high level for beginners. Lots of practising needed to master the tracks. It is the new Rockschool book for 2024 and I feel the standard has gone up.

Good book for my son shame it’s quite expensive but my son needed it and tbf it is a good detailed book, easy to follow.

As you would expect it is a drumming book pitched at the correct level for the learner. A tad expensive but this is likely due to licencing costs.

Simple, but very efficient and inspiring. Essentially, it’s a practical songbook—learning by doing. You can play real songs after just a few lessons. The book lacks some repeat and transition signs, which would allow you to play a song exactly as in the original, from start to finish. However, these can be easily added with a pencil. Additionally, the book doesn’t specify which hand to use in tricky parts, which could be helpful for smoother playing.

Good product

My son uses this for his drum lessons but has to add a lot to the book. Highlight parts and add in extra writing with his teacher.
