If I could rate Arlo a zero, I would. Arlo cameras and app used to be good products. The new app requires a monthly subscription to record video! Something that was not made clear in the Q&A’s when I researched items on Amazon. Now the 30 day ‘free trial’ has ended along with the 30 day return policy. The new app is very complicated to use, if it works. It is very time consuming to go in and turn cameras on and off one at a time. Cameras are glitchy. Go to Google Play Store to see more reviews. I used to be a huge fan of Arlo. Now I wish I had purchased a different security camera brand.

I have some Arlos that I got when they first came out. They are simple and reliable and, naturally, will soon stop working because of the announced end-of-life. Again as expected, the new version is more complicated, performs slowed, and has a number of features that are really not helpful. Plus subscriptions now cost more.These cameras are still very good but I wish the simple, excellent, non-PII-exposing Arlo that was part of Netgear would come back. 4 stars because these cameras work well, one star off because of dubious improvements, lack of support for older gear, and more expensive subscriptions.

good camera. very convenient that it is wireless, charges via USB. easy to install. clear setup interface. excellent video quality. pleased that there is a night shooting mode, and a flashlight for lighting. appreciated that you can set up "familiar faces". when actively moving in the camera's field of view, notifications are sent to the phone, which allows you to see online what is happening near the house. in general, completely satisfied with the camera

Buyer beware. This product is falsely marketed. After the initial period this product looses significant functionality without subscription.I am an Arlo fan since 2017 and recently was looking to extend the functionality of my system these worked great with my system but after the trial period these camera are useless without a subscription. None of the ligature communicates this. This is not a requirement of my original system and cameras.
