TomTom Click and Go Mount Car Charger and USB Cable, Black, 9UUB.001.28

I bought this for my TomTom 6100 SatNav unit as an additional mount as I'm lucky enough to own a few cars and the 6100 is better to use than the inbuilt Nav systems in most cars. It's robust, doesn't wobble even with the firm suspension in a couple of my cars. The cable is long enough to slot in to a 12v power point that is mounted lower down in the car and the windscreen is steeply raked making the unit a long way from the instruments. A much better and substantial product than the cheaper alternatives being offered for sale on the internet!

This holder works well but it is expensive. The part that fails over the years is where the micro USB cable connects into the holder. At this price I do think this connector should be more robust, the previous one lasted about 6 years, though it wasn't used every day. I've reinforced the connection by putting gaffa tape onto the back of the micro usb connector to give it more support.

This is the second mount I have bought in 3 years. I use it nearly everyday for my TomTom either for work or for personal trips so it gets used a lot. It charges my device really well and the design of it means it’s easily removable but there are a couple of downsides with it’s design too. After a while, it seems to stop charging or charging on & off when you are driving. Any slight movement and it stops working. After my second purchase I realised what the issue is - the tiny usb connector on the back of the mount. It is very fragile! The way you remove it means the connector gets knocked a lot which causes it to come loose inside the unit. You either need to leave it stuck to the windscreen so you are not removing it all the time (not ideal if your car is parked outside) or be very careful when removing it. Another issue is that the rubber sucker doesn’t seem to like cold windscreens (especially in the morning) and doesn’t always stick and falls off after a minute or two, no matter how hard you try and lock it in place. Sometimes I have to jam it between the dash and windscreen to secure it. Not the biggest issue, but more of an annoyance! All in all, it does it’s job but with a couple of issues and a slightly expensive price tag!

I use a Truckers 6000 Satnav, the cable on the old mount was becoming worn and pitted due to removing from truck every night. I started to a new job and I couldn't rely on it charging up the unit due to the cables being worn as my deliveries were mostly town and cities, so decided to buy a new mount and cable as just as cheap as buying a cable only. Fitted my Aatnav to the mount and plugged it in and never had any issues with it from there on. Works well .

I bought this so that we could use our satnav in my wife's car without having to move the holder from car to car. So it's an exact match to what we already have. In this respect it works exactly as I wanted and saves a lot of hassle. Bought at a decent price (was reduced) so good value for money too.

these items were to replace a faulty set that I had with my tom tom and they work a treat and are of great quality and of no problem with fitment in my unit.. very pleased with the parts and the service!

I love Tomtom, it has saved me many hours of delays and in my opinion is far the best of all sat navs, shame I can't say the same for the cradles. Though this cradle matches the quality of the one that came with the sat nav the problem is that neither one has lasted and I will now have to contact Tomtom once again to report a fault. To clarify the fault, after a while the sat nav receives no charge, you can temporarily fix it by wiggling the wire in the back but eventually it will fail completely. My rating is not for the cradle itself, though it feels good quality - I know it won't last and deserves a 1 star. My rating is purely because Tomtom don't usually shirk their responsibility and will send a replacement
