I keep this practice pad set up underneath my desk since I work from home. Whenever I'm in between things or just need to think, I pull it out and tap out some fundamentals. The whole thing is pretty solid, though the bag that comes with it leaves something to be desired.

Good quality for the price. Have this to my 8 year old nephew and he loves it!

I got this Drum Practice Pad and have found it to be average overall. The pad provides a decent surface for practicing, but it doesn't quite match the feel of a real drum. Additionally, the rebound could be better, as it doesn't offer the responsiveness I was hoping for. While it serves its purpose for basic practice, the quality and performance leave some room for improvement.

We purchased this practice pad to allow our son to practice his drum. It saves him from having to unpack and set up his concert snare drum. It saves us from having to hear it!The practice pad itself has a good drum feel, providing decent stick bounce. It doesn't quite as good as a perfectly tuned drum head, but it feels more realistic than the rubber drum pad that came with my son's snare drum.The stand is sturdy enough to keep the pad in it's place, and it provides plenty of adjustment for height and drum head angle.The package is completed with a carry case and three sets of drum sticks. Your mileage may vary on these, the case is nice enough, but the practice pad will just live in my kid's bedroom and not really be needed. The drum sticks aren't very good. They are light and flimsy, and lack the action of a quality pair of drumsticks.

This set has both plusses and minuses, but overall is acceptable if you don't mind a small practice area and a somewhat weaker bounce back.At only 8 inches across, the pad is smaller than most stand-alone test pads. It's possible that the manufacturer kept it small to ensure it doesn't lose balance on the adjustable stand, but I think an extra 2-3 inches wouldn't have been an issue. The pad is advertised as "double-sided", but it's really usable only on one side since the back has the screw-in part. Finally, while the pad is very quiet, I found it to be lacking some bounce-back that could have afforded a more realistic feel.The stand is decent. The extension piece is quite long so you can set it up pretty high, which might be useful for tall players (at 5'7", I hardly need to pull up the extension). You can also set up the pad to be angled if you prefer.You also get 3 pairs of generic 5A drumsticks. They're good enough for a practice set and not likely to split/break easily. A nice-to-have would have been 3 different sizes (like a 5A, 5B and 7A), or different tips.The best part of the set is the portability. It's easy to set it up and break it down, and it comes with a nice looking carrying bag that will hold everything and not take too much space. I think the set earns its 4 stars quite fairly.
