Did I really need another lap desk? No. Did I buy one anyway—because I’m notorious for falling asleep with my lap desk, tablet, and phone all tangled up in the blankets, leaving me waking with bruises? Absolutely. So when I spotted this one, I figured it was time to bite the bullet and give it a try. It’s big enough to comfortably fit my laptop, tablet, or even a meal without feeling cramped—at least, that was the plan. If you’ve read any of my other reviews, you know our home is partly ruled by our furry feline fluff-balls. Our female kiddo loves attention but isn’t much of a lap cat, much to my disappointment. So imagine my surprise when she decided this lap desk was actually for her—a safe, semi-firm throne on my lap. At just a little over 5 feet tall, I wondered if this desk’s full 360-degree wrap-around design might feel a bit overwhelming for someone my height. To my pleasant surprise, it was quite comfortable to use. My shoulders do sit a bit higher than usual, and when I slouch, my elbows tend to push them up—but I’ve never experienced any discomfort during or after using the desk. Overall, it strikes a nice balance between ergonomic support and ease of use for shorter users like me. Attached you will find several photos of desk, the first one when I got it rolled up, and the others after they'd expanded. Most of them I did remove my legs, so yes I did digitally alter them, but hey, how many times does anyone really want to see my legs...once is more than enough. At least with that picture you get to see my lovely kiddo, who has claimed this as her own. In one of the pictures you'll see the pocket on the right side, it's huge, you'd never know that has one Xbox controller in it. I've been able to get two in there, and a bottle of water, with room left over...like I said don't want to interrupt her majesty in the middle of her sleep when my battery runs out. This lap desk definitely delivered on over all comfort and safety. No pointy corners or edges meant I could nod off without fear of poking or bruising myself. In fact, I’ve twice woken up to find the desk exactly where I left it—still holding my cat contentedly and propping up my tablet. So even if my laptop time got limited, it’s earned high marks as a cozy companion for sleepy reading sessions.

This is a game-changer for remote workers who often work from the couch, a chair, or even in bed. I used to rely on a pillow to prop up my laptop just to avoid looking down all the time. I bought this a few days ago, and I’m already hooked! You don’t even need a separate mouse pad—my mouse works perfectly on the surface. I find it very comfortable putting it on my recliner (I'm 5'11" & 190 if that helps) while I work. I have chronic severe neck pain, and am on my laptop all the time. This helps to keep my neck in a much better position helping to mitigate the neck pain. When I got it out of packaging, and after expanding (only needs a couple hours), one of the side arms was flimsy and not supportive like the other side. After two days, I unzipped the arm, found it was somewhat twisted and untwisted it and all is well. My only minor complaint is that the soft material naps easily. I have very sensitive skin and the material does not irritate my skin, but the tradeoff is that it does nap easily. Nothing is perfect and I am very happy with it overall. If I ware it out I will want another one just like it.

I had been using a wooden lap desk but had wanted something softer and I found this product. Love it. It sets perfectly, can adjust the height by snapping or unsnapping the sides and it has a nice pocket on the right side to hold stuff. I write in my bed a lot and this is perfect because it’s soft on the legs but firm enough to hold my iPad and keyboard. Love it! Packaged well also.

THE PICTURE IS DECEIVING. IT IS VERY POOR QUALITY. NOT STERNABLE FEELS LIKE U ARE LEANING MORE. CHANGE LOCATIONS FROM BED & COUCH. STILL THE SAME THING. I BOUGHT 2 ONE FOR ME & MY BOSS. SHE WAS DISAPPOINTING AS WELL.

For me it is big and bulky no where to store it when not in use and was very hard to snap toogether one side I still cannot get it to work
