Fujitsu S1300 Scansnap Document Scanner Bundle - 1 Year Warranty - with 7.2V AC Adapter, Mini USB & Microfiber Cleaning Cloth (Renewed)

This series is no longer supported for software/driver downloads. There is nothing in the instructions provided with the purchase that can be followed clearly. Upon doing a lengthy number of searches, I have been unsuccessful in finding any way to make this scanner compatible or work without the software to download for it. Still searching, but this is a huge issue that should be noted somewhere in the description prior to this company continuing to sell/resell them.

This scanner is good, but I had issues right from the start. It came with the wrong size barrel connector plug. I contacted the seller and they sent a new one. Guess what? It was also the wrong size! They have great customer service though, and that goes a long way with me. I was able to find an old universal power adapter and got the scanner to work for me. Scan quality is great. Unfortunately, when I moved it, the scanner slipped out of my hand and fell about 5 inches down to my desk. The sides popped off and won't stay on now. I can still get it to work no problem, but I'm still disappointed with the quality of the build. I'm going to look for a good power adapter for it and see what happens. If the seller reads this review, I do understand that is a refurb unit and that stuff like this happens, but how can the barrel connectors be so far off from the correct size? The power input on the scanner is much smaller than the power adapters that you sent.

I recently had to gather paperwork from throughout my mother-in-law‘s life in preparation for nursing home placement. It literally took me two weeks to find every necessary document. I ordered this scanner so that I can put all of her paperwork into one place that is easily accessible. The instruction manual was clear and concise and set up was very quick in no time I had scanned all of my mother-in-law‘s documents into PDF form all place into one file on my desktop. It comes with a one year warranty, so you can’t go wrong

I was hoping to use this as I had one in the past and enjoyed it. This product has reached its end of life and Fujitsu no longer provides the software or drivers. If you follow the instructions that accompany the device, the pages are no longer available. I searched for a secondary drivers support, but I was not able to find them. Amazon should consider end of life or driver availability for these devices or at minimum warn the purchaser for full disclosure.
