Featuring a robust four-diode bridge configuration, this module provides stable full-wave rectification for high-power electrical systems, ensuring maximum efficiency and reliability in industrial environments. Technical Specifications:Model: MDQ-300AMax. Average Forward Rectified Current: 300ARepetitive Peak Reverse Voltage (VRRM): 1600VPhase: Single PhaseConfiguration: 4-Diode Bridge for Full-Wave RectificationTerminals: 4 Heavy-Duty Screw TerminalsModule Dimensions: 108 x 67 x 35mm (4.25" x 2.64" x 1.6")Mounting Hole Diameter: 6.5mm (0.26")Mounting Hole Distance: 87mm (3.42")Net Weight: 526gCore Features:Superior Protection & High Reliability: Engineered with unique glass passivation technology, this module offers exceptional stability and resistance to moisture and oxidation for a significantly longer service life.Isolated Mounting Base: Features an electrically isolated base for enhanced safety during high-voltage installations, paired with a robust metal casing designed for optimal heat transfer.Efficient Power Conversion: The standardized bridge circuit configuration minimizes energy loss and voltage drops, making it ideal for continuous industrial duty cycles.Standardized Industrial Build: Precision dimensions and mounting hole specifications allow for easy integration or replacement in existing power cabinets and CNC control panels.Typical Applications:This versatile power module is engineered for a wide range of DC power supply requirements, including:DC Power Supplies: Ideal for industrial instrument equipment and high-current battery charging systems.Motor Control: Perfect for DC motor excitation power supplies and input rectification for PWM frequency converters.Power Conversion: Widely used in switch power supplies, auxiliary current inverters, and automated manufacturing systems.Note: To maintain component longevity and prevent overheating during high-current operation, the use of an appropriately sized heat sink and thermal grease is mandatory. Review: Works great to convert older AC buzzbox welders to DC - I bought this BR to convert my older Century AC “BuzzBox” welder to DC, as other buyers have done & as shown on several YouTube videos. I chose to retain the AC welding connections and tied the bridge rectifier into the existing system using new 2-gauge welding cable and adhesive-type heat shrink. It works! And it works great! Really makes welding with 7018 rod a breeze (cleaner welds, easier to keep burning rods, less splatter, less current required). Keep in mind that for clean 7018 welding, you will need to use a POSITIVE ground; this didn’t work so well for me with 6011 so I switched back to Negative ground for 6011 and it worked great that way. I installed Riverweld Tig-welding plugs/connectors so I can easily switch between Positive/Negative ground depending upon which type of rod I am using. Very happy with this Bridge Rectifier! Review: When you need to convert a AC welder to DC..reach for these!! - I have done plenty of AC to DC welders with these..Everytime I need one for a welder..I reach for these!!

Does the job.
I used this to turn a cracker jack lincoln AC stick welder into a DC which makes a HUGE difference. Now I just need to add an internal fan to up the duty rating.

Ac buzzbox
Worked great on my ac buzzbox! It's a real stick welder now. I was at 135a on ac welding 1/4" steel with 1/8 6011 had to drop it all the way down to 75. I'm am very impressed with how well it works so far but I have only burnt 5 rods the day I wired it up. Can't speak on longevity yet. Don't count on a seccond review because I won't remember to come back and write one.

Good solid product...!
The actual product is different from the one on the web.... But.... None the less all the specs are exactly the same... So that's all that matters... However the product is a solid product.... Nothing cheap....! I'm using to convert a AC welder to DC... and this heavy duty rectifier will do the job... Would recommend to anyone looking to do the same.... Solid product... You won't be disappointed...!

Exactly as featured.
Using to update my little welder from strictly AC to DC as an additional benefit.

Great until it breaks
Running on a Lincoln Idealarc 250 and burns up after abotu 40 hours welding time never ran over 225 amps guess I gotta buy a 500 amp if I want it to last.
