f40 fabric shaver - transformed my knitwear!
I recently bought the f40 Fabric Shaver, and it’s quickly become one of my favourite tools for keeping my clothes looking good. I have a lot of knitwear and wool clothing, and it's given all my pieces a new lease of life and blitzed those annoying bobbles. So much better than any fabric shaver I've used before - and I've been through a few!The first thing I noticed was the sleek, luxurious finish and design - it feels really high quality and ergonomic in hand.In terms of performance, it does a fantastic job removing fabric pills and lint from everything I’ve tried it on, from knitwear to blankets and cushions. It’s simple to use and surprisingly effective without pulling or damaging the material (a common complaint with other fabric shavers!). The USB-C charging is also a nice modern touch, and it holds its charge well, so I can use it a few times before needing to recharge. If you’re after a well-made, reliable fabric shaver, this ticks all the boxes.

Makes clothes look like new again, although so do the cheaper versions!
Adds a new lease of life back into older clothes. It works pretty well, but is rather expensive, at £30 for what is a battery, motor, plastic and razor blades. Cheaper alternatives will function in the same way for cheaper. Despite this, it's a solid build quality and works very well. Recommended.

Powerful, Compact, and Perfect for Restoring Fabrics.
If you’re looking to refresh clothes, bedding, or upholstery, this lint remover works like a charm. The powerful motor and sharp blades remove lint, bobbles, and fuzz effortlessly. I tested it on sweaters, jackets, and even my sofa cushions, and the results were fantastic—everything looked clean, smooth, and like new. The precision mesh is gentle on fabrics, so there’s no risk of damage, even on delicate materials like wool and cotton. The 45-minute runtime is impressive. A single charge was enough for me to tackle multiple garments and even larger jobs like my bedding and sofa throws. It’s ideal for quick touch-ups or deeper sessions when reviving your wardrobe.Charging is super convenient with the USB-C fast charging port. A full charge is quick, and since USB-C is so common, I didn’t have to worry about losing the cable. It’s great for travel, as I can easily pack it and use it wherever I go.The easy-clean lint container is well-designed. It holds a good amount of fabric fuzz, and emptying it is hassle-free—just detach, clean, and you’re good to go.Weighing just 80g, this shaver is lightweight, compact, and incredibly portable. It’s perfect for travel or storing in a drawer for quick home touch-ups.

Very impressed
The media could not be loaded. I already had a manual de-bobbler that came free with a cashmere cardigan I had bought, however, this Premium Fabric Shaver is in a different class. I didn’t think a de-fuzzer would be as effective as this little rechargeable device. It is incredibly efficient and restores the clean appearance to your clothing. Although maybe a little overpriced at £29.99 it looks and feels well made so I hope it lasts, but it does come with a cleaning brush and spare blade. A neat and effective solution to revitalising those shabby looking garments. Full recommendation.

More non compliant trash
This device makes lots of claims about USB-C but the reality is like all the cheap China garbage on Amazon these days it does not include the £0.0001 resistors in the electronics to properly implement USB-C charging and request 5V, so if you plug this into a USB-C charger you will get… nothing.

Good for small jobs
Despite its novel shape, it functions the same as most other fabric shavers. It is compact and practical, and it would suit light de-fluffing. It is a nice size, and one could easily carry it around as needed without taking too much space. It fits nicely in the hand, and the matt finish helps keep a grip on the device—much smaller than the multiple-head designs. I prefer this more straightforward single-head design as it allows me to concentrate on shaving off what I need to, applying even pressure.Noise-wise, it is not quiet but passable, given it is a shaver. On two occasions, after using the shaver on a woollen top, I had to stop it and remove the head to remove the congestion blocking the blades. Once removed, it went back to regular operation. The holes that allow the furry balls to reach the blades are pretty small, so I did not find it particularly effective, and I had to resort to another shaver to complete the job. So, for small balls, it is fine but, in my opinion, not so great for bigger jobs. I have not tested the charge time, but it already had plenty of charge out of the box. However, it is remarkable that it uses a rechargeable battery rather than AA batteries.
