Awesome Humidifier with excellent features
I've been in the market for a humidifer because my kid is having tonsil surgery and we were told that it would speed up recovery, and this one was the one I went with because I've got several SwithBot products already and have been really happy with them so far.To start, setup is really easy both with the hardware and getting it into the app as well. Setting up the device is as simple as unboxing and filling the tank with water and plugging the device in. Alternatively, you can also pair it up with a SwitchBot mop/vac and it will refill its tank from the mop's tank through a little port on the bottom of the humidifier - super cool feature that really blew me away. I have a regular switchbot vacuum that doesn't have the mop feature, so I wasn't able to test this but that might be reason for me to get one.Setting it up in the app was as easy as hitting "add new" and letting it find the nearby device and adding it to the wifi. It's as easy as can be.Once it's in the app, you can control it directly in the app or with the buttons on top of the device (pictured) which I like a lot - some of the smart devices tend to force you to use the app which really makes it tough when you want to just walk up and push a button on it, or if the kids want to control it without an app.It has multiple settings for the intensity of humidity, and I also really like that it's not a heavy mist that condenses on the ground or is super visible and "foggy" like other cheap ones I've had. It appears completely transparent to me and is also very quiet so easy to keep in a room with, say, a tv and not have it be a disruption. The other thing I really like about this one is that when the water runs out, the light on top turns bright red to let you know so there's no mistaking it. In other models I've had, it's easy to let the water run out and not realize it.There are only two downsides I've found on this model that I didn't care for - and even these are really nitpicky. The first one is that the tank feels a little small for the size of the device BUT that's probably because of all the tech that's otherwise in this device - it has multiple filters that it runs through, and they're all reusable stuff so I give that a pass. The other one is that the default lights are SO bright. I had to leave them on sleep mode all the time because they're too bright to be in a normally lit room without lighting the whole room up - that's great for when it's out of water, but other times it's just kind of annoying. That said, you can easily change the settings and dim those lights so not a real issue. The last one is that the instructions have a lot of criteria for how close you can set it to anything and that makes it a challenge to stay within those guidelines for me and meet the manufacturer's suggestion, but I think they're probably just "for best results" and not rhard requirements so I'm also not terrible concerned about that either.Overally, this is a really excelllent product and I am very happy with the ease of setup and the overall functionality and reliability of it.

Mist-Free, Tap Water Friendly, and Auto Refill!
The media could not be loaded. I've been using this humidifier for a while, and it's been fantastic! It uses special technology that provides humidified air without generating a lot of mist. I also love that I can use my SwitchBot S10 to refill the water through their app. Plus, I can use tap water, so no more buying purified water! The app is offering different humidity settings and scheduling features, also working with the Meter Pro to automatically adjust based on the room's humidity levels. Their washable filter is another big plus. Overall, it’s a well-designed, easy-to-use, and efficient humidifier!

Doesn't Work.
I set up the humidifier as per directions and paired it to a SwitchBot IP65 Indoor Outdoor Hygrometer Thermometer. Everything seems ok however the wick is not getting wet. My guess is the pump isn't working. What's even worse is iI called the phone number for support and it instructs you to contact support. I sent an email to support and did not receive a response.Update 03/09/25 - it took four days for the folks at Switchbot to get back to me. After that they sent me around 6 emails trying to make things right.Because I returned the humidifier and bought a different brand humidifier there wasn't much they could do but they really made a big effort to make up for my defective item.If I had to rate their customer service I would give them 5 stars and I would not hesitate recommend them as a company based upon their excellent customer service.

Evaporator humidifiers are supposed to be simple and easy to clean
This thing molded up almost instantly. Why the hell are there so many parts of this thing there should be like three things. The fan the tank and the wick. They have so many parts it's just impossible to clean everything even with their methods of using citric acid which is ridiculous btw, but I can't clean every part I can't clean inside of the pump motor and I can't clean underneath the float cap that seems to exist completely needlessly since there's a magnetic float as well. And then you have Wi-Fi involved it's just insane. It doesn't even add moisture the way you would think it does. This is for a medium sized room at best. Do not buy. Keep it simple and find something that's literally just three things the fan the wick and the tank so that it's easy to clean. This doesn't need a technology overhaul. Avoid. Oh and don't throw out the box if you wanna return it cause they won't accept it otherwise unless it's an original manufacturer packaging so they can give another person a moldy unit which is probably what happened to me and why it molded up so fast.

Dries filter automatically, has manual button for controls
All the buttons on the top panel are a god send. I’m so sick and tired of smart devices with only app control or emo touch panels. The buttons are all labelled and easy to understand. This is a cold mist filter type humidifier so it does lower the temperature and isn’t ideal for winter. However, it also means there’s no white dust everywhere. I love the option of it being able to dry its own filter every time it’s turned off.The only concern is the fact that the humidity sensor isn’t built in and requires an external device. With the app/hub being the man in the middle to interpret the data and sending commands to control the humidifier. This means that this function could potentially be lost if the app ever goes kaput (I’m pointing at you AmbiClimate!).
