USB MIDI Host MIDI Interface

Product arrived when expected and was well packaged. My goal was to use the Miditech USB MIDI Host MIDI Interface to allow my Yamaha P-115 keyboard (which has no MIDI ports) to control/host the Miditech PianoBox, so that my keyboard could generate more instrument sounds. The user manual is terrible, however, the device is sturdy and performs as expected once you figure out how to connect it correctly. The "printer" jack end (USB B) of the connector plugs into the Yamaha P-115 USB port, and the USB A jack plugs into the Miditech USB MIDI Host MIDI Interface USB port. Then to connect to the Miditech PianoBox, use a MIDI cable plugging into the MIDI Out of the Miditech USB MIDI Host MIDI Interface to the MIDI In on the Miditech PianoBox.

Works great for my keyboard setup. Great product at a great price. Thanks miditech for an awesome piece of gear.

Terrible experience overall, it never worked with my OP-1, keylab or any midi cables I own. Even if mine was defective, it feels like a cheap piece of plastic with flimsy ports and I can’t believe it has a good review. I threw away the packaging while waiting on new midi cables so I can’t even return it, such a waste of money. DON’T BUY

Solid and does not GLICH. Tryed with 2 Arturia controlers, 1 Akai mini and a Korg Ek-50. All worked well.

I bought this to use with an OP-1 and an OP-Z, to send USB MIDI data to other MIDI devices (synths/samplers). I spent a long time trying to get this to work and despite getting the green light to display as expected, I could not get any MIDI data out of this thing. I've been using MIDI for some years now, so I don't think the issue was me not doing something right. I'd already checked with another online retailer (Thomann) and they confirmed that this device was compatible with the OP-1, so I can only think that the one I had was defective? The seller accepted my return quickly and I got a full refund. I then bought a RK-005 on eBay 2nd hand and that has worked flawlessly and easily. So this might be compatible with the OP-1 and OP-Z, but I couldn't get it to work and I suspect the one I received was faulty.

Das Gerät hat bei mir sofort funktioniert. Ein Alesis V61 Keyboard, das nur einen USB Anschluss hat, habe ich damit an einen alten Roland SC-88 angeschlossen, und kann durch auch ohne Computer spielen. Bei mir wurde ein USB-Netzteil für die Stromversorgung mitgeliefert, 5V 1A, obwohl die Artikelbeschreibung sagt das Netzteil sei nur optional erhältlich - also besser als erwartet. Ein Midi Kabel ist jedoch nicht dabei, das muss separat gekauft werden.

Fa quello che deve fare al prezzo più basso trovato in rete a fine 2020. Con lui posso collegare ad ingresso e uscite midi un controller che ha solamente un’interfaccia usb. Nel mio caso lo utilizzo per collegare un controller midi akai alla Chamsys quickq 20.
