WMFCE Küchenminis Slice Toaster, Multi-Colour

I'm delighted with this item. I'd first seen one in action during a visit to Germany. Never more than one slice of toast at a time is needed, and I've always hated having two elements working when one would suffice. The adjustment seems very dependable, and the bread becomes evenly toast each side, which is more than can be said for a lot of alternative toasters.It's a bit costly I do agree, but with this price, you are paying for a quality product, and the saving in otherwise wasted power will eventually compensate for the extra price.

A fantastic little toaster, perfect for a single person who likes their toast hot and fresh. Instead of having one hot slice of toast followed by a cold one from my two slot toaster, this machine means perfect hot toast, crumpets, muffins etc every time, with my favourite Danish butter simply crying out to be thickly spread on the warm surface. Great stuff!I've taken a star away from what should have been a 5 star review because the accompanying manual clearly states that the toaster comes fitted with a UK plug. It did not and I had to buy an adaptor.

it only takes small slices

The "toaster" is beautiful. However, it does not toast. It warms. And it takes a long time at the highest setting to warm. The lever to hold the bread in the toasting position does not engage on the first attempt. It takes five or six careful tries to engage. I wish I could somehow fix it because it is beautiful.

Nice and small, but slightly uneven toasting of the bread. The toaster is not entirely made of metal, the bottom consists of a plastic material. A slice takes about two minutes to toast to medium. Stainless steel is very sensitive to fingerprints. It is not suitable to have near children as it gets very hot on the outside after toasting a few slices of bread.

De diseño simple y eficaz. Su estética es preciosa. Su funcionamiento fiable y con ranura muy amplia.

Grille-pain très compact, bien dessiné et d'aspect magnifique. Enfin un toasteur qui, avec le même réglage, grille le pain également d'une fois à l'autre. Rien à voir avec l'ancien grille-pain Philips qui, même neuf, n'a jamais grillé le pain de la même manière. La touche d'éjection de ce grille-pain WMF s'allume dès que la manette est abaissée, ce qui permet, entre autres, d'en faire un voyant de mise en fonctionnement. Même en cherchant la petite bête, impossible de trouver (pour le moment) un défaut à cet appareil.
