This is great seed for planting your own cat grass feeder. It sprouts almost 100% after 3 days in damp soil (covered to keep it dark and moist). My cats love to graze on it and it lasts a couple weeks before I have to start another batch. I made a perfect kit out of the Amazon products listed below. It consists of an 8” planter and 12” drip plate, an upper 8.25” grid (to sit on top) and lower 6”grid (to sit in the bottom of the pot), planting soil appropriate for cat grass, and degradable bowls to fill with soil and seeds. The advantage to the disposable bowls is easy compostable disposal of the spent grass and soil when you start a new batch of seeds. You can start a new batch in a new disposable bowl with fresh soil when the old grass is starting to fade…just switch out the inner bowl when sprouting has started in the new bowl. The bottom 6” grid insures that the inner disposable bowl doesn’t sit in draining water and the grass cannot be over watered. The top 8.25” grid keeps the grass roots and soil in place while the kitties pull at it to graze…without it, soil and roots get pulled out and make a mess. You can probably build a cheaper kit, but this group of products works great and will last many years without any problems. Only renewable items needed are the seeds (barely made a dent in the bag in 4 months) and disposable bowls (50 bowls should last a couple years). Easy to use and grow. It works as intended to give my cats some plants they are allowed to eat. It's a great value and the bag is contains much more seed than I expected. It grows fast into something that appears to be cat taste approved. It rarely last long enough to grow full size before my cat mowers eat it all. It tends to only take a few days to geminate and when kept moist the seeds grow into good quality grass. I barely had sprouts two days ago when I put it in the window and today I had 3 or so inch tall grass.

They are great seeds spot usually in 3 to 4 days and from there grow quickly and luscious, very good Yield, and it still have them as I grow small window ceiling boxes for my 1 cat but they arrived in a very nice thicker plastic bag that has nice heavy double zip lock top and it's kept them fresh also I store them in a drawer that's not opened alot. I will reorder them when the run out.

Cats love this mix, easy to grow and comes in full each growth.

The seeds are great. They grow within a couple days and the cats love it.

Very easy and quick growing, just follow directions on seed bag or growing tray. I chose a growing tray set so I could more easily switch out and re-grow without a mess. Also, I opted for multiple growing trays to allow for staggered growing times as my cats attack and devour the grass immediately. This is also saving my houseplants.

One cat acts like it's an addiction but my other doesn't care about it. Great product but just be aware if your cat is not interested in it then it's the cat's choice and not the product. Great Germination rate also.
