This is one of the few ways I will eat a banana. The others are, banana splits and frozen banana with a thick chocolate coating. Sorry, bananas are pasty and have a dull taste and are not particularly flavorful. However, something happens when you change the texture and concentrate the flavor. They start to taste good. These dried bananas taste great, lots of flavor, and aren't pasty like ground chalk mixed with flower and water. The feel like banana 'jerky' for lack of a better word but they are not hard to bite into. In the last two weeks I have had two packages. This is more banana than I have eaten in the last year. Will be buying more this week.

i used to love those fried banana chips. but they're a lot harder than i remember them being. so i switched to freeze dried bananas - which are delicious, light and crunchy! a while back i learned about dried bananas. not freeze dried, and not fried chips, just... dried. like other dried fruits i've been buying for decades. tried 'em, loved 'em. tried several brands - they've all been succulent, and no tougher than, say, a prune. these? these are banana jerky. i can't bite through them, i can't chew them, they're painful and unpleasant to attempt to consume. i wish i could return them but they're non-returnable so learn from my mistake and don't buy more than one package of these until you know you'll enjoy this brand. i don't. i'll chop these up into tiny bits and soak them in hot water, and try to use them up in oatmeal or banana bread.

I used to order these bananas all the time. But they changed their packaging and I feel the quality changed also, not for the better. The bananas as much drier than before.. and now there are also bits and pieces in there as well instead of all full length pieces. I preferred them more moist and not chopped up.

I love how there is only one ingredient. They taste amazing and are perfect for when you need a snack. Highly recommend!
