I have a Total Dissolved Solids meter and check my water periodically. In truth, our city water has a sky high concentration, so I use a quality filter under the sink on the cold line. That then filled the pitcher. The first photo shows the filter installed in my pitcher. No fit/finish issues - looks great . . . but the proof is in the pudding.The next two photos show the before and after. Before (which means after the in-sink filter) was 330 ppm. After (which means after the 330 ppm water passed through the filter) was 158. That's nearly a 50% reduction in dissolved solids even AFTER an initial filtration. To me, that's a VERY impressive performance for a filter.I could not be more pleased. Great product.

As shown in the picture, I used this product on my 2.5-gallon Brita filter. They fit perfectly, and the filtered water tasted like the water when using the Brita Brand filters. The activated charcoal has more carbon powder than Brita filter cartridges do. If you run them under the faucet as instructed and shake them every five seconds until the water runs clear, the filtered water has no black powder.I didn't find anything I disliked, and the extra activated carbon powder didn't affect their performance. This product has a very reasonable price point, and I highly recommend it.

Read the directions! Before installing you need to rinse them for 10-15 seconds to activate the charcoal (I guess). I made the mistake and installed it right in without reading. The pitcher was black. Wasn't a big since I just took it out and rinsed it. After that it was totally fine. Was just freaky seeing the water black. Great price on this 6 pack. Def adding this to a subscription if I can.

At the lake we have city water, but we also have tanks onboard that we use when we are away from the dock. The water in the tanks is treated, but it can be quite gross for drinking. We keep two big Brita tanks full in the fridge at all times for drinking water. We run through a ton of filters. We have tried several brands and some that are supposed to last for 6 months. These filters fit perfectly in our big tanks. They look and act just like the name brand ones. They are supposed to last 2 months so this pack would last you one year for a single tank.

I got this for a Vine product review because I have a Brita I use daily and I am always on the look out for filters that work yet do not cost a fortune.PROS* very well priced at $18.99 for 6* they seem to work, water is clear and nothing remain floating* water does not taste weird* easy to use like any other that needs to have water run through before using for consumptionCONS and why it lost 4 stars* while packaging/shipping is not normally part of a product review I am including it because the packaging was completely broken and then that broken packaging was in another box that was broken and when it comes to filters and hygiene they are supposed to be properly sealed and packaged. This was not the case.RECOMMEND because price is great and they work well with Brita. However, if you receive filters that are not properly sealed make sure to not use and call it in.

I enjoy using my Brita water picture but dislike the price of the Brita brand replacement filters. These filters are identical, fit my pictcher perfectly and are an excellent cost saving. Highly recommend

This set of six filters is a really good value. They fit well in my Brita. They seem to filter the water just as well, too. I have the 27-cup Brita Ultra-Max water dispenser that sits on the fridge shelf and has a spout, rather than a pouring mechanism. It takes standard filters and the Elite, longer-lasting ones. Yes, these filters fit in the Ultra-Max and are comparable to the standard filter.

These appear to be a good choice for Brita filter replacements. The filters appear very similar to the name brand cartridges and are well made. They fit perfectly in Brita pitchers and seem to work just as well. Water taste is improved and filter is effective at removing that chlorine taste from tap water.
